Dear Mr Jani,
Greetings !!
It is really unfortunate that an business organization like Rediff and it's reckless vendors are failing so miserably to understand and empathize with the challenges being faced by their hapless customers. Kindly go through the following details quite carefully and please do reply responsibly rather than sending in stereo type replies.
I had placed an order on your rediff shopping portal on 03/10/09 vide purchase order number 56112920. A days later i wished to alter my order and wanted to procure a higher model. I did contact your helpline and was suggested to contact the vendor directly.
When contacted the vendor agreed readily and asked for a mail to be sent to him to which he would reply back along with his account number wherein i can deposit the differential amount. The mail was sent to him immediately by the undersigned but the response from him was nil after. I had been calling up the vendor regularly after the incidence and he kept on giving diplomatic answers for three days. Finally today(i.e 09/10/09) after wastin 4 days the vendor gave a ridiculous answer that the needful cannot be done and i would have to cancel the order through rediff shopping. He had simply wasted valuable time of mine.
I had made that purchase as a gift for my nephew which is on 11/10/09 but as this entire process seems disastrous, i would strongly wish to cancel the order immediately without further delay and take alternate course of action. I hope this mail of mine goes to somebody senior and holding a responsible position in your organization and who can provide a meaningful and immediate solution.
I hope to receive an immediate meaningful reply to this mail as i am posting this concern of mine at ConsumerComplaints.in as well and please do not kindly waste time any further by giving stereo type replies. It's time that your organization needs to be emphatic and value their's customer's time and concerns.
I am also attaching the series of e-mail communications i had with the vendor, leaving aside the numerous telephone calls i had wasted on him. I would highly appreciate if someone can contact me on my cell number provided below and give a personalised service. I would also appreciate if executives in your organization address gentlemen by their surnames and not their first names as done in the appended mail, as part of business etiquette.
