Linking ICICI bank net-banking account looses the registered Payee's Hi,
I have faced the following issues with ICICI banking and I request you to do the needful. Let me know if I have to provide additional inputs.
Background:
I have two ICICI bank accounts (Chennai and Bangalore) and I have separate net-banking accounts for them. Now I am transferred to US and so my Indian mobile number is closed. When I try to login from US, it asked me for OTP(one time password) to login. As the old number is not with me I couldn't get the OTP. when I called them they FORCED me register some mobile number (I don't have a personal mobile yet) and so I had to use my friend's mobile number. But, here again they were not able to register the same number for both the accounts (NOTE: I had been using the same number for both accounts when I was in India). So they FORCED me to either give two different numbers or link the accounts together. I decided to link the net banking accounts together, as it is easier for me (because, No Need to wait again long, no need to send additional scanned copies of ID proof and mobile registration requests). I linked the Chennai account to Bangalore account's user ID. Now,
Problem:
-- The Payee's registered for the Chennai account are not available now. ICICI asks me to register them all again.
-- It is highly inconvenient and will be time consuming to add each of the payee(s) again. for some of the accounts, I need to call them in person and get the account details again.
NOTE: They never warned about loosing the payees, not in any documents nor the executives warmed me when I called the customer care.
Thanks,
Vilva

just to add to it, the Chennai account is completely missing from the internet-banking-account. Now I don't have any way to access it. the executives are asking me to enable to old-user ID again. Why is the service going poor?

And It indicates, your banking software is not tested well. I am doubting whether is it really hacker-safe?!.
