My saving account was compromised in March 2010 when my banking details were stolen.

HDFC bank was immediately informed to stop all online transaction from my account to prevent misuse and fraud.

HDFC CALL CENTER CONFIRMS “ONLINE TRANSCATION STOPPED” but subsequently allows debit transaction and says only online was stopped not debit card. It is like locking the front door and keeping the back door open.
