I would like to bring to your notice the problem I am facing with the icici credit card number 5176 3702 0864 6004 under my name Josan Thomas. My credit card was misused by some unknown person during the month of 20/2/2008 and a purchase seems to be done for an amount of Rs.6711/-same was not mentioned in February, march statement. My debit card was linked to my credit card for the auto debit payment before. I noticed the misuse of my credit card while going through the credit card statement for April and immediately went ahead by giving a complaint with the icici customer care on the fraud transaction and also requested for cancelling my credit card. After canceling the above said card they reissued me a card with new number (5176 3702 0864 6012) and promised to resolve the problem within 60 days. I was not provided with any complaint number. I had followed up on this issue with the customer care for more than a hundred times and finally got a reply from them saying since its more than 90 days since the card was used for the unknown purchasing they cannot trace the same. I had also disabled my auto debit option by then and had put ahead that I’ll be paying my credit card payment only once I get the resolution for this issue. Having stopped my payment for valid reason there were still so much of interest getting piled up on the amount. Charges like Late payment, interest, service tax etc.. Which would go up to Rs 1000 per month. The amount being crossed the maximum limit they have started adding over limit fee charges. On top of this the collection managers have started threatening me and started sending people to collect the payment.

Linked with the above issue, my icici account (626701506219) was debited of an amount of Rs.12,651/- on 17th December 2008 towards the credit card payment (the same credit card which was misused), WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE or WITHOUT THE AUTO DEBIT OPTION BEING ENABLED and they disabled my saving account I have a loan(icici bank personal loan) linked to the icici account whose EMI gets debited during every month 5th. Because of this issue of money being debited without my knowledge i am forced to stop payment towards my loan also. So far in my payment history be it towards my loan or my credit ca rd i have not put any overdues or gone for any late charge payment fees. I am forced for all such actions due to the ill response i have faced from the icici customer care towards my credit card and now my debit card problem.

I Had sent Registered letter to Mr kamini (Head customer service) , Mr Mehta (Nodal Officer) and Mr Madhavan (Senior General Manager Service Quality) as per ICICI bank's rule (grievance redressal).At last I got a letter from Sarika manager (Service quality) icici bank hydrabad on march 10th 2009, stating that they will be looking in to the matter and will be getting back to me within 45 days from march 4th . So far I have not heard from them on this.

I had mentioned in my complaint that I will not be paying my loan unless the issue is resolved, since it affected my debit card too. I am getting harassed by them continuously on this, hence I am seeking your help for a resolution for this.
