Amount transfered from my Own ICICI bank account on 04.04.2012 from Chennai to Indian Overseas bank Virudhu Nagar Branch. My account was debited immediately advisimg me that the proceeds have been credited to the beneficiary. Subsequently I came to Know the said account was closed. I have sent a communication detailing this with all relavant information to Indian Oversas Bank Virudhunagar Branch. I have not receicved any reply. Normally if the account was closed the transfer amount would be returned automatically to the transferror account. In this case it has not happened lioke that.

I have similar problem with no solution as yet. On 29th December 2011, I transferred 10,000/- through ICICI net banking to one of my Uncle's account in Bank of India. After I initiated the transfer I realised that the account no. of beneficiary registered is not correct. I checked with the beneficiary branch (Bank of India Kailgarh) and they said that since such account no. does not exists it cant be credited to any account and they asked me to get back to ICICI bank for reversion of the amount. I went to the ICICI Sun City Gurgaon branch and gave a written letter for the same but nothing has happened till now.
Can you please let me know how to deal with this issue?

I did a NEFT Transfer from ICICI Bank Chennai to Axis Bank Trichy on 16-jan 2012, Transaction id is 284596167,Today the Date is 24/1/2012 almost 9 days still the amount is not credited in the beneficiary account.
ICICI bank is telling transaction is successfull and the amount got debited in my ICICI bank account. Axis bank is telling amount is not received and they cant do anything
