Dear Sir,
Iam an account holder of IDBI Bank-Manesar Branch-Gurgaon, I had transferred Rs 8500 by Internet banking on 16 th feb 2009 to My wife who is an account holder of Canara Bank-Peenya Branch-Bangalore.
The amount has been debited from my account immediately on 16th feb, but has not been credited to my wifes account.
After a week (on 24th Feb) I called IDBI Customer care & lodged a complaint
On 27th feb I was given a transaction no. & told the transaction was completed & to enquire at Canara Bank. When My wife approaced Canarabank she was told the amount has been reversed back to the sending Bank.
I have contacted IDBI many times & the answer is Amount has not been recieved
Canarabank Manager tells amount has been sent back.
pls tell me how do I solve this problem as it is more than a month of this transaction.
How do I proceed?

I have a different suggestions i have an experience of such technical glitch, your money is still with IDBI, whenever you transfer money it takes time, now in this case the transfer was not accepted by canara bank so they have declined the transfer, the money is still with IDBI.. What you can do is that you can get the managers of both bank on the phone and let them settle it, once you do it i am sure the managers will give there money but your account will again be credited.. Try it.. Managers wont call you need to call and get them talking.. If you still face problems you can write to head office of both banks and ask for a reply/ or file an RTI.. You will get justice..

My account is in IDBI & there are no Pass books, I have checked my account by internet & the money has not been refunded.
I have got the beneficiary account passbook updated , the money is not credited.
As Iam at manesar , I have requested the bank manager at IDBI to contact Canara bank, But the manager says Internet transaction is a centralised process and it is not required.

Contact to the customer care of both banks and lodge your complaint. Ask them the current status and the time limit for solution.
You can contact us again if your problem will not get resolved with the mentioned time.

Hi,
I transferred Rs.4000 to my demat account with Standard chartered on 19032009. The amount was debited from my savings account with citibank however, it didnt get credited with Standard Chartered. When I contacted their call center they said it will take up to 2 working days. I have also spoke to a call center manager who promised that it would really get resolved in 2 working days. This has happened before and it had got resolved the very same day. Hence I felt it was normal. Six days down the lane, the money has still not reached StanChart or back to my account. Everytime I speak, they promise a callback. But I end up calling them. Now I am totally frustrated and want to take this further if it doesnt get resolved in a couple of days. What should I do.
Being an ex-employee of Citibank, I know that this process doesnt take this long. How do I go about this. Please advise.

I paid money through online for a website hoster.He has it has been refunded and send the transection ID Details etc...as evidence for refund.But money not get credited to my account.Bank manager said it is to be automatically credited-there is no involvement of bank in posting the refunded amount.It is not function of Job.....
From six months there is no response on this. pl advice ...Iwouldlike to file complaint on the bank manager....

I am an SBI Account Holder(a/c no.:10598526210).
On 10th May, 2011, a problem occurred in Money Transaction through Net Banking due to some unknown reason while I was booking a railway Ticket: the Bank declares that the transaction was successful and the amount had been debited from my account, but my Railway Account shows that the amount was not send by the bank and hence the ticket could not be booked.
I have talked to the bank employees regarding this problem. However, they appear to fail to give any reasonable explanation for or solution to this problem.
Your sagacious suggestion is highly solicited.

I was trying to transfer money from my SBI account Kanpur, to my brother account PNB farah but before completing transaction we do receive an password on our mobile phone but thr was some problem with my handset so i couldn't receive that password, and process din't complete i thought my account will not get debited but second day when i checked it was debited please tell me the process of getting my rupees back.

lOOK AT YOUR IRCTC ACCOUNT (UNDER TXN) IF TICKET IS BOOKED ITS OK OR ELSE IF TXN DECLINED BY BANK TICKET SHALL NOT BE BOOKED.YOU CAN CHECK IT FROM IRCTC ACCOUNT NOT SBI.
AMT SHALL BE REVERSED WITHIN 4 DAYS NO NEED TO LODGE A COMPLAINT ALSO.
