Hi,
I have recentlly done a wrong transfer, got the last digit of the icici account number wrong. I was doing icici to icici transfer. I had transfered Rs. 15,000/-
I have been told by the icici bank manager in andheri (w) that they will contact the account holder and revert back in a week.

My query is , do they ever get back. I see a lot of people here who have got transfers done by having the account wrong.

I also bank with other banks, they have a fool proof system in place, i.e. when you put the account number, it shows the account holders name.

Also why did icici transfer the money, whn the name did not match, and if this has been an error from a long time, why is not being taken care of.

Finally, the query is did anyone ever get his money back, is there any way I can get my money or will have to forget it.

I made online transaction from my ICICI bank A/c number to transfer Rs 3977 to my ICICI credit card but I mistakenly transferred to Idea cellular number 9540059377 with Payment ID: 234777204 . Now icici people are denying for the reversal of the amount and same with the Idea cellular people.
Please tell me what should I do to get money back.

Hello Sir,

Myself Vishnu rao had made a transaction online and had paid a Citibank credit card bill. The Money got debited from my account however was not received on the other end. I tried calling up ICICI customer care however was not helped as they have their own limitations too.
