MF Units are not purchased for SIP amnt due to KYC got failed but mny is not refunded I have two SIPs with HDFC Mutual fund for 4000each. My KYC got failed after 5 months of SIPs. For the sixth month, SIP amount got debited but units are not purchased due to KYC failed status. I have expected that money will be refunded back to my account, but that is not done. I have raised a complaint in HDFC Mutual fund customer care but there is no update. Everytime when I call, They were telling it will be resolved soon but it is not yet resolved.

When committing mutual funds SIP you need to take into account a few things. One of the most important is to decide on committing SIP for short term or long-term.
