I had started a SIP with ICICI Prudential Focused Bluechip fund in nov 2010. The SIP got cancelled due to a failure of KYC. Though the SIP was cancelled and inspite of me submitting the discontinuation form, ICICI has still kept on debiting my account with the SIP amount.
I have been to the AMC office of ICICI umpteen times and have done everything in my capacity to stop this ECS auto debit. I was also assured that all the formalities have been completed and no amount will be debited hence forth. But this has not been the case. This is the 5th month since the SIP has been cancelled.
Now I wish to take this matter to the Consumer Court since there is no resolution to this matter from ICICI.
