Hi,

I had taken a policy for tax saving from IDBI in March 09 this year. The date of the payment through ECS via my Standard Chartered account was the last day of the month.

THis November, not too sure for what reason the cheque bounced, as the amuont showed on my statement, even though my salary was credited on the same day, however the details showed insuffcient balance. I have deposited a cheque in IDBI for which I have also received an acknowledgement number, 259896 (From the IDBI branch), my bank statement shows that the amount has been deducted. I have sent numerous emails, and keep receiving a response from IDBI stating that the amount has not been cleared for November. This is frustrating and extremely poor service from IDBI, where they are not even checking their records before responding to a query. I have written close to 6 emails and keep getting the same response. If I have received an acknowledgement from IDBI, then why am I being told that the money has not yet been deposited.
