I had purchased an assembled personal computer from an authorised dealer in Kalyan (Dist Thane - near Mumbai) on 19th october 2006. Since the time i have bought the product i have been facing problem with the working of the system. The purpose for the purchase of the same was to be able to use graphic softwares (Autocad, corel draw, Adobe photoshop, 3D studio max). But the computer was found to be inefficient since the very beginning and though it was of good configuration it would not run these softwares properly. Everytime the complaint was made to the dealer he would, after a number calls give service but that too only to format the computer and give it back again. This did not resolve the issue as i was still unable to work on these softwares. In the month of november 2008 after a lot of persuasion he agreed to replace my mother board and processor. He kept my computer with him for more than one and a half month and told me that the replacement has been done. As the problem still was not resolved and i contacted him again and after a heated argument he agreed that the processor and mother board were not replaced but repaired by their engineer even though the product was in warranty period which means that the dealer himself has tampered with the product in its warranty period, when it could have been replaced easily. Verbal acceptance of his mistake was done only in the last week of february. Now he has replaced my computer's AMD processor with that of intel for which he is giving me no warranty at all. I have asked him to give my processor back as i can then directly contact them and sort this matter but the dealer is refusing to give it back to me.

All these problems have been persisting for 2.5 years and we are tired of the dealers false promises and service for the product. The replacements and rectifications that could have been done in the first year of their service only has been delayed till now and i have not received a permanent solution. To add to this we have been making him minimum 5 calls a day and have been visiting him ever since we bought the machine.
Can i get refund for the machine provided by him as i dont want to keep this faulty piece with me. The UPS, LCD monitor, Printer etc that we have bought from him also are causing problem to us since the time we bought it.
Kindly let me know what can be done about the same.
