    Angry Dell Ultrasharp U2311H Monitor

    Dear All,
    I have purchased a Dell Ultrasharp Monitor from the Dell India Website. The unfortunate part with Dell India buying monitor begins with the very instant of not having the option to buy online but calling up their TOLL Free no 18004254026 and then placing the order to their Sales Agent.

    In my case the Sales Agent was Mr. Vikas Chhabra. The monitor was indeed received after great difficulty as Dell India has no system to track order placed only for monitor or accessories. Mr. Vikas on phone shared the monitor would be received within 3 days, while i got it in 12 days. The order tracking system exists only if i would have purchased an entire system of Desktop or Laptop as per Mr. Chhabra

    The Dell India website mentioned that the monitor carries a 3-Year Advanced Exchange Service and Premium Panel Guarantee.

    I have received the monitor 15 days back. The day i received the unit with an invoice of Devraj Computers on it. I was amazed to know a 3rd party involvement of Devraj Computers Pvt Ltd, without my consent. However, I complained to Dell team that i have a dead pixel on LCD very close to center of the screen itself which is a manufacturing defect from Dell. To which they first put me to Sales Guy, then technical support then customer support... Every time making me hold for 20 to 30 mins for line transfer between various departments. They then said, i have purchased this from Devraj Computers and i need to deal it with them. I really got angry and asked them if the units comes from Dell India and does it validates itself with a 3 year support or no?

    I am till date asking for an Immediate response/replacement and no one in Dell India is bothered to answer this.

    It is very clear that Dell India is doing unethical business by sharing customer details with 3rd parties without even informing customers. As well not providing the support/Replacement mentioned in the Official Website of Dell India.

    I then asked them, as per the Service support terms, i need an immediate replacement of the monitor to which there are no clear answers being provided by Dell India about level of Support mentioned with product, delivery date of new monitor, etc...

    Plz don't buy Dell Products.

    same here
    i was delivered a faulty U2711 and they have been pushing the replacement delivery dates for two months now ...
