Dear Concern,
I, A.Padmanabhan was a airtel prepaid customer for the last 7-8 years. I bought this sim card in bangalore by submitting all the necessary douments. However, again i got a call from the airtel customer centre to resubmit all the necessary documents in the nearby airtel office and the same was submitted to the koramangala airtel office, bangalore. Currently i'm abroad and my mobile was working till may 2012. But, when i was trying to use my mobile last month, it said "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED". I already have LIFETIME VALIDITY FOR MY SIM CARD. I DIDN'T GET ANY PRIOR MESSAGES FROM AIRTEL before blocking my number. I have given this number to the bank for online transactions and i get the security codes on this mobile number. Now, I WAS NOT ABLE TO DO ANY ONLINE TRANSACTIONS. IT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING. Currently, i'm in Finland and I had contacted the Bangalore Airtel customer service today (05-08-12) at 11pm over the phone but he didn't even had a courtesy to hear what i'm saying and answered me very harshly and just hung up the phone. I was using this number for so many years and its really hurting when they treat their customer in such a way.
I request you to kindly look into this issue and kindly RESTORE MY SIM CARD WITH THE SAME NUMBER as i have so many important contacts to whom i have given this number.
Hope i would get my number back.
