    Default Reg: Sim card registration failed

    Dear Concern,
    I, A.Padmanabhan was a airtel prepaid customer for the last 7-8 years. I bought this sim card in bangalore by submitting all the necessary douments. However, again i got a call from the airtel customer centre to resubmit all the necessary documents in the nearby airtel office and the same was submitted to the koramangala airtel office, bangalore. Currently i'm abroad and my mobile was working till may 2012. But, when i was trying to use my mobile last month, it said "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED". I already have LIFETIME VALIDITY FOR MY SIM CARD. I DIDN'T GET ANY PRIOR MESSAGES FROM AIRTEL before blocking my number. I have given this number to the bank for online transactions and i get the security codes on this mobile number. Now, I WAS NOT ABLE TO DO ANY ONLINE TRANSACTIONS. IT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING. Currently, i'm in Finland and I had contacted the Bangalore Airtel customer service today (05-08-12) at 11pm over the phone but he didn't even had a courtesy to hear what i'm saying and answered me very harshly and just hung up the phone. I was using this number for so many years and its really hurting when they treat their customer in such a way.

    I request you to kindly look into this issue and kindly RESTORE MY SIM CARD WITH THE SAME NUMBER as i have so many important contacts to whom i have given this number.

    Hope i would get my number back.

    This is madhavaraj form coimbatore, Tamilnadu. My mobile number is 9500050402. I'm an airtel prepaid customer for the past 3 years. I recently recharged my Airtel mobile with 751rs for 3g internet on 17 of july 2012. After recharge, I was not able to connect to internet with 3g speed in my mobile. I do have a airtel post paid 3g sim and 3g is working fine in that data card. I even tried to connect my prepaid sim with the 3g data card but still i was not getting 3g speed. even after waiting for 20 days and numerous calls to customer care, I have not got any proper response from them. All I got is false promised and infinite waiting in the call. I contacted nodal officer on july 30th and they promised me to refund my money by august 2nd. but I did not get any callback from them. I again called them on 6th august, they promised me to gimme a callback before EOD but again failed. They never gave any proper reply till now.

    Default causing problems in delivering my duties due to sudden deductions

    My Name is Amit using Mobile no 9871339826
    Its has been twice that i have recharged my phone with 1000Rs in a span of 14 days at i am shocked to see that everytime my money being deducted for some reasons on asking from customer care executives i got only one answer that i have been using mobile office but i am not able to understand that when i have 1 GB plan activated on my phone why i am being charged with internet usage. No body has an answer to it. Today i got my important call cut due to lack of balance when i was talking on a serious issue with my patient who has got his kidney transplant done just a few months back this has led to the morbidity and delay in his admission to wards and start of treatment.
    Kindly look into the matter and deal with it seriously.
    I have made repeated calls to customer care without any response

    I have been using this (9940651696) SIM since last 6 years but due to some work i went abroad.. as i returned chennai i used the SIM and its showing SIM card registration failed and if i tried calling that number its picking up by someone else.. Please look into the matter .. i need the same number, contact me through my mail..

    Hi I have taken a new Post paid mobile connection from Airtel Customer Service Centre at CP- New Delhi. I have completed all desired formalities as instructed by the representative and was assured that the SIM will be active within 24 hours . However, the same has still not been not activated even after 48 hours.

    on 05th Sep 2012 , i called up Airtel customer helpline number, and after much peculation was able to get a complain number and have been assured that it will be resolved by 10th September 2012.

    Alternatively, i also called up Airtel - Customer Service Centre CP's numer and was assured by Store Manager that she will come back to me in 10-15 minutes for the issue related to activation of SIM's. I feel sorry to say that i have not received any call or revert from the Store manager and have no idea as to why such a long delay and never ending silence on the subject.

    Please resolve the same at the earliest otherwise i have no other option but to stop my relationship with Airtel- Mobile(Corporate and personal) along with DTH Connection for my organization.

    Angry Unable to port from docomo to airtel

    I wanted to port my docomo number to airtel due to signal issues that I'M facing in my office. I completed all the formalities and submitted the documents and it's been around 10 days but still the number is not ported. On the day of submitting the documents I received a msg from airtel stating that they are processing my request but I didn't hear from them after that. Kindly assist me for the same issue mentioned abovethem

    Default Mobile number still active after mnp to vodafone

    Hi,
    I'd ported my airtel number to Vodafone last year. But my mobile number is being given out to new customers. So, basically two users using same mobile number. This is the third time this has happened. I was unhappy with airtel's service and hence moved out but they are still haunting me.

    Request help on what I should do to make Airtel resolves this issue.

    Respected Sir,
    I had a post paid airtel mobile connection. My mobile number was 7600057887. On being transferred from Gujarat to Kerala. I applied for closure of my connection on 28.09.2011 and paid the pending dues amounting to Rs.1968/- by my credit card in an airtel centre in cochin. I also submitted the documents required for closing the connection. But now they are sending recovery agents at my parents address, from where I had shifted and also legal notices to pay the dues. The recovery agents are also harassing my old aged parents. KIndly help me out of this.

    Default Services activated and amount deducted without request and permission

    I recharged with 333 on 26th of September and on 1st October 2012 it is showing balance of just 112 though i made max 4 to 5 calls till date.
    Also I have been charged Rs.99 for [COLOR=#009900 !important]downloading[/COLOR] something which i did not.
    Airtel service Game Club automatically activated.
    [COLOR=#009900 !important]Please return[/COLOR] deducted [COLOR=#009900 !important]money[/COLOR] immediately and stop all services which are started without permissions.

    Dear Sir,

    I have complaint against customer care executives. yesterday by chance instead of topup, some services got activated on E-recharge of INR 60. So i called customer care to know which service got activated and came to know by them 3G internet service got activated and its valid for 30 days, so i thought of using it as already my money got deducted for that service. I called them few times when my main balance kept getting deducted and each time they kept on saying to change homepage, access point and so.......among one of them i could not understand his hindi language so asked him to change his language and explain me in english. Later came to know he blocked me as i was not able to contact customer care from my mobile no. My problem was still not resolved so called from another airtel no. and this time was surprised to hear that i was activated for 3G video calling not internet. so my point is, why i was given wrong information? i was harrased whole day trying to activate 3G internet i lost my money and time calling them and browing to check i got activated or not. IS THIS THE RIGHT WAY TO BLOCK SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING THEIR LANGUAGE? ARE THESE EXECUTIVES ARE KEPT TO PROVIDE WRONG INFORMATION AND WASTE CUSTOMER'S TIME AND MONEY?

    Dear Sir,

    I have a postpaid Airtel sim which I got when I moved from Vodafone to Airtel using MNP in June of this year. While I was filling up the form, I told the representative to activate the 250rs 1GB free 3G data plan. Once I started using the sim, over the next couple of months, I got 3 bills which were around 350 or less. My email ID in airtel was updated wrongly and my frequent efforts to get the email ID fixed were in vain. But the point was that I was "not" being charged for my data usage.
    In the last month, All of a sudden, I got a bill of 9500. When I tried contacting the customer care, I was told that out of the total amount, around 8500 was being charged for 3G data usage. I had apparently used 778MB of data in the month. When I asked Airtel regarding this, They said that I was in a 0 rental plan were the charges were 10ps/10kb. When I told them that I had asked for activation of 250Rs 1GB plan, they said that the plan was not active in my mobile. They had for some reason, Initially, they had activated some Nokia N8 plan in which I had got 2GB free over the first two months. I don`t have a nokia phone and I have never inserted my sim into any Nokia phone. I have no Idea why they activated this and I got no message about this activation.
    I made a compliant (SR NO:- 46218134) last sunday. I got a response on Thursday saying that the bill is correct and the 250Rs 1GB plan is not active in my phone). I told them that I had asked for activation of the 250Rs while filling up the initial form itself. They told me they will get back to me in 1 day. They gave me a call today saying that the bill was correct as per my usage and plan. I spoke with the Nodal Manager and he also told me the same thing.

    Why did they activate some Nokia N8 Plan when I never bought the mobile? Even If they did activate the plan where I get some 2GB data free for 2 months, Aren`t they supposed to inform me regarding that?
    Once that plan got over, the 3G was still active but with no plan. My initial request for the 250Rs 1GB plan was never activated. This was also their mistake. I feel that I was cheated by them.
    Request you to please help me out with this.

    i am sunil thapliyal from bhopal, my cell no 9755901529. 08/10/2012 today i got a sms " thank you chsoosing hello tune subscriptipn on your airtel mobile. You hav been charged rs 60 for 90 days and ur accound balance pst charging is rs 43.61 at 17.21" prb ye he ki without any subscription they deduct my balance i hav same prb many times reparated its my old no so i cant change this no, pls register my complaint against airtel for this fraud, airtel ke executive har kabhi kisi bhi service ko automatic on kar dete he n uske bad unke customre care pe call bhi nahi lagta, pls pls submit my complaint & take any hard panalty for airtel beacuse i m very fedup with airtel, now i go MNP service . thanks & regards

    Angry Incorrect Breakdown in the Bill

    Hi All,

    Please be informed that my relatives have got call from 08553776765 and said rubbish things to her. The person said that Navneet has not paid the bill and a notice has been passed for me.

    I want to complain against violation of right of security against Airtel for sharing the contact information of my relatives from my directory and distribute to third person.

    I already contacted airtel last month regarding the dispute in the Airtel Bill. Below was the issue and email I sent to Airtel twice and I never got any sort of response from them.

    As on 07 Sep 2012 my unbilled usage amount was under INR 700. I went on roaming on 08th and then I got a message stating that my unbilled usage amount is INR 3650.00 approximately.

    I got a call from one of a Airtel representative to discuss about the usage on 15 Sep 2012 while I was on roaming. He asked me to get back to customer care once I will reach in Karnataka zone.

    On 22 Sep 2012, I went to the Airtel store at Koramangla, Bangalore to have an Airtel mini SIM for my iPhone. They provided me the SIM buy never activated yet and deactivated the old SIM as well

    This mobile number has been register for my bank accounts, Credit Cards, Office, my business clients overseas, with my friends and colleagues etc.

    DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT PROBLEMS I HAVE FACED WITH AIRTEL.

    1) Please explain how my unbilled usage amount went from INR 700.00 to INR 3650.00 in just one single day.
    2) Why my SIM was not activated on next working day.

    Please send me an genuine bill with the breakdown of the actual calls I made for the month of September 2012

    HOW CAN THEY DISCLOSE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH ANOTHER PERSON.
