    I should also add that airtel customer service mysteriously disconnects the service. It has happened a number of times and this does not appear to be a coincidence. If you call 121, they will say the same thing that your phone may be a problem. Then I tell them it is a smartphone. Then I tell the story and somehow persuade them to get a supervisor. The supervisor will try to understand the issue. Usually if he / she is unable to understand, then he/she will play the music and then it disconnects. Same pattern over and over again. I understand Airtel subcontracts out this service. I spoke to some Airtel execs and privately, they throw their hands up and suggest other providers.

    hello ,

    I have been cheated by the Airtel Authority and would like to go to consumer court for mental harassment. There is a person called Bharath - 9741350004 who took Rs 300 , that too for a corporate connection which according to Airtrel customer service if free.

    I wanted to migrate my prepaid to post paid , its been 14 days there has been no update. Every time i contact that person he gives a false assurance that this will be activated.

    I tried to contatc the customer service centre ( Call) which is even more pathetic( disconnecting my call) . I cannot wait any longer and want my Rs 300 back from airtel.also, i would like to take legal action on them please suggest.

    Hello,<br><br>I used to hold Airtel No 9910701443 until 6 months ago.<br>However i changed companies and hence Mob Service Provider as per the company policies.<br>I promptly went to Airtel Relationship office and paid all the outstanding and asked them to cancel the SIM, i went to surrender the SIM.<br>They said i need to contact customer care for the same which i did.They said they will cancel it.<br>After that i found out after 45 days, they have billed me again.<br>I called up customer care and asked them why did they not cancel it and they said no such request was taken.<br>They took a fresh request there.<br>Now today on 30th Sep 11 i receive a call from Mob No : 9971161259, says he is an advocate hired by Airtel and that i need to pay their 5 months bill for 3380 by 4 PM or else they will carry out legal proceedings.<br>Now i am not happy here with this kind of Money making attitude of Mob Service Providers.<br>Please i need your help to investigate further and bring this to closure.<br><br>Thanks and Regards<br>Champaka&nbsp;

    Regarding Mobile Number Portability


    I Akshay Taru given port in request to VOdafone and I am currently using Airtel. Customer representative called and asked for the reason about port out and i gave him then he said will forward your request and then i received sms from vodafone that your request has been rejected because you have not completed 3 months and my no has started at 14th April,2011 so i am since 6 months in your network and i want get port out from your network that's it.

    My complaint is against Airtel they are not porting out any of the Numbers and rejecting every numbers port out request till 15th of this month i heard from one person who works in Airtel. So what should i do to port in Vodafone because Airtel have hopeless Customer care Service.
    O request Vodafone to please accept my port in request and do necessary thing against Airtel

    Respected Sir,
    This is Atul from Delhi, somtime before i complained to Airtel Customer Service, Eastern UP. Sir, i was a user of Airtel prepaid form feb 06 to march 09. I became a lifetime customer of Airtel on 27 dec.08. I was asked to recharge 200rs/ within 6 months as per policy of company for lifetime users. But, On apr. 09, when i used my sim card i found it was deactive. Therfore, i talked to customer care they informed me you did not make any single call to anyone, so it became deactive they also said to start me again submitting a photo and identity paper. Then i made all necessary process with 120 rs/ fee to restart my sim card.
    But it could not start, i made them call and call. I mailed Airtel Customer Service more than 5 or 6 times which i can show you with unique identity number.
    Now, what can i do? I should claim it in consumer court or not.

    Angry Airtel - credit limit exceeded

    Dear Sir,

    I had paid my bills in the final week of the last month. On 15th this month I was told by airtel that my credit limit got exceeded. I was not given any detail break down of my usages and was told that the details will be available only after the bill is generated.

    Airtel had barred my outgoing calls and my gprs and had told me that they will not open these and will not give me the details. To get it opened I had to pay Rs. 3500 (Recipt no: 34-18357488) on 16th this month. They said that it COULD be because I made a lot of gprs usage but I had not got any alert which said that my gprs usage was going beyond limit

    Today, my services are barred again and I am told to pay Rs. 2500/- again. Airtel is cheating people and is trying to cover for its losses by fraudulent means. I need your help sir, and I intend to sue Airtel for this wanton mistake.

    Since customer care and Airtel office were not able to help so I dropped a mail at appellate.kk@in.airtel.com but I got a delivery failure message

    This is related to Airtell people cutting money unnecessarily.
    I'm now living in Delhi and I'm from Andhra Pradesh.At both the places I use airtel sims and problems are same at both the places.
    Today morning they have deducted money from my balance and when I wanted to talk to the customer care they start responding in Hindi.Im asking for people who can speak in English and they are disconnecting the call. This happened 5 times today itself. I have two complaints here. 1.Why are they deducting money unnecessarily 2.Why can't they connect to customer care who can talk in the language I know.
    This is not the 1sttime. When I went to Andhra Pradesh also for Holidays they played this drama of deducting some five rupees everyday and giving it back after I fight with them over phone for some half an hour everyday..
    Is there any solution to this problem?

    Hi,
    Airtel always do reduce the balance from their customers mobile without any prior intimation.even if you do not activated any value added services still it is automatically activated by airtel and deducted balance too for the same.I am very much frusted by Airtel.
    I am facing this problem from last 6 months. 3 times I have raised this concern, but they didnot provide any solution for this. Now I am unable to call customer care also. Finally I am going to shift the service provider itself.

    My mobile no is 9870535548, its an Airtel number and since past few days I cant make calls and cant receive calls, Blackberry services were also not working, today blackberry services have resumed but still cant make and receive calls. I am in Mangalore roaming and the customer care here are not helpful. They gave me Mumbai cust care no and asked me to call them. Since I cant make outgoing calls I tried calling from my sisters mobile but cant get through on their number 09892098920 and 09892012345 at all. I am stuck as I can't make and recv calls. My wife and children are in Mumbai and I cant get through to them.

    Also on 27th Dec'11 I recharged with Rs 333 through internet banking as I was getting a message that Ur prepaid service will expire today whereas I had just recharged last week when I was in Mumbai, the money has been taken but talk time not added. I recharged again today and it went through.

    Can someone from Airtel help me get my talktime and get my service working

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My prepaid number 98******99 has been deactivated from Jan 2, 2012. I have been using this number for several years. I am in Europe these days for some urgent works.


    I called on customer care number 9810198101 several times all the way from Germany and then came to know that I have to submit some documents. through the help of my friends in Delhi we have submitted all the documents (copy of PAN, Passport, electric bill and photograph) but till now the number is not activated.


    I am loosing lot of information and business because of this blocked number. Any help in unblocking this number will be greatly appreciated.

    Dear sir,
    I have opted for changing from airtel to other network and requiested to number port and on that airtel called up me and promised a better plan if i confinue to stay. As per the airtel customer care executive i cancelled the port on 16 jan. For which they have promised a better traiff of 10paise airtel - airtel and 30paise airtel to others. they told that it will be activated with in 5 days. However till not nothing has changed in my plan.

    If they are not willing to provide a better plan i am ready to migrate to other network and i do not have any complaint. But as they have requiested me to cancel my port and not not providing the promised traiff. They should also note that i am a customer to airtel since 2005, and till date i have not raised any issued.

    Hi, I am Sourav from Hyderabad. I am using Airtel (AP circle) for last 3.5 years. My mobile number is +91-9704750687. Recently, 'Games_Mania_5' service is got activated in my mobile. I called Airtel customer care. They asked me to send a message 'STOP' to 121, but it is displaying that I don't have any service activated. But everyday it is deducting RS -5 from my account. Please deactivate the service or do a necessary step.

    I am using Airtel number 9871067198
    And i have already activated DND services but I am getting property related messages in frequent manner. I have also re [COLOR=#009900 !important]registered[/COLOR] the compliant on 29th October 11 and Airtel [COLOR=#009900 !important]Customer Care[/COLOR] informed that your messages will stop within 7 days but still I am facing the problem and I am seriously planning to change [COLOR=#009900 !important]the service[/COLOR]provider as Aitel [COLOR=#009900 !important]Customer Service[/COLOR] is not good.
    I am also shocked that after registering the complaint with customer care no action has been taken
    from the Airtel.

    Please inform what to do in this manner so my service provider will take serous action.
