I have been using Vodafone for atleast 4-5 years (9899576757), have been a very loyal customer to the.
recently i bought a new phone and opted for a 3G plan INR 100/- for 200 MB , after one billing cycle I found that the plan was expensive and i requested Vodafone to change it 2G -INR198/- unlimited plan via email on 10th DEC 2011 ,on 12DEC 2011 i recieved a reply that the plan will be activated on 13 DEC 2011 and i believed them, but when the bill came it showed that i was still being billed on 3G , an exorbitant bill of INR 1900-2000 was dispatched .
I tried contacting Vodafone customer care surpisingly my Helpline no. was blocked, i tried from another phone and got through them, to my dismay they had no clue about the change , they insisted that i was still in 3G.I counter checked on my mobile network and it showed 2G instead of 3G . I again called them atleast a dozen times from my second no.9899576747 on which customer care was chargeable (as my helpline was blocked and no action taken to unblock it even after me tellin them a lot of times.)
To which i realised it was of no use calling them nd hence reverted to the mail sent by vodafone , again i received very formatted replies which gave no solution .Being a responsible man i still went ahead and submitted INR 1000/- towards the bill so that my account .
No solution has been offered to me as yet, i have copies of all the Emails of our conversation.
I have been haggled very much and i wan somebody act to make the situation clear.
