I took global passport SIM in November, for which I paid Rs.15000 advance. I returned back on 12th December and handed over the SIM and phone in next 2 days time. I called them in January to check the status of my refund and I was told by the customer care staff the same would be processed by 20th January. But I never received the refund neither I got any communication as to why there is delay in processing the refund post adjusting the usage charges.

I did write back to them again to check the status of my refund and then they confirmed me that the refund would get to me by 20th February. Couple of day’s back I thought to call them and check the status of refund and wrote a email for the same. On 21st Feb'10 I got a call from customer care that my refund processing would take another 16 working days, as there is some problem with approval authority.

I agin waited for it and got a email and call confirmation that the refund cheque would come by 15th March for UK SIM and 25th March for US SIM, but till now I have not received any checque or communication. I did write a mail to them on 17th March, but I am yet to get any reply.

I fail to understand that why I as a consumer has to wait for their internal abnormalities and it has been 3 months that I have been waiting. At the time of paying deposit the same was taken out without any delay, but why there is a delay in processing refund. If I owed anything to them then by now they must have sent collection agent or would have taken a leagal action.

I am frustrated and I would never ever have any relationship with Reliance.
