I bought Nokia 5800 at Xiangfan China two months back and then after use of two months, there vertical lines all over the display. we took to Nokia care centre and they said that I had intentionly/ un-intentionly damaged the screen, which is not correct. I have keeping the phone in soft cover and it has never fallen down.
Ultimately they charged me 610 RMB to relace the screen. This is ridiculous and I am sure this is defect in phone. Similar case happened with one of my friends .
I really feel cheated by Nokia and they should replace the phone.
