Airtel claims 121 as “Any where any time” it surely a false claim. I travel most of the time and using my Airtel Bangalore, atleast 20days in a month I would be on roaming and expect some decent support from Airtel for any issues I may have. Been on roaming most of the time Airtel get more money then when I would be in my home network, paying for both incoming and outgoing. Now try calling Airtel 121 for any help after a painful IVR drive you end up with a CC agent just telling you oh! Sorry we would not be able to help you with that you may have to call Karanataka customer on 9845012345 and which is a paied services as on am on roaming, firstly you pay more on roaming on top of it now pay for this call also for any simple question you might have. Today it reached it’s worst I just Mumbai 121 and wanted customer care number for Karanatak Airtel Landline, here it goes “Sorry Sir for that you will have to call KK CC” now isn’t it the worst you could hear. This is seriously a pain to use Airtel now, they may be growing customer numbers but support is going to drains, been loyal to Airtel for last 7yrs paying high monthly rentals for Balckberry and still getting such pathetic support.
Just waiting to get the Number Portability live in India and just want to move to a different operator. Hope Airtel likes to retain customer and show some respect to its loyal customers.
