I am a post paid customer of Air Tel for the past 2 1/2 years. During Oct 2009 I was given a bill amount of Rs.1414.39 to be paid before 05.11.2009. I have paid Rs.1450/- cash through local Air Tel Office. During Nov I received a bill - amount to be paid Rs.201.98 before 06.12.2009, for which I made online payment by debit to my account on 26/11/2009. After two days I received a message that I have to pay Rs.1450/- before 06.12.2009, for which I made an online payment on 05.12.2009 by debit to my account.
The online statement also displays the payments received by Airtel, but the service provider is now stating that I have made the payment to a different account, as such I have to pay immediately Rs.1450/- again. They have stopped my outgoing calls from 22.12.2009. I had replied with my bank statement to the service provider. But still the service provider is advising to pay the Rs.1450/- stating that the amount is for credit to a different account.
I have written back stating that I will be going to consumer court and I also advised that I am willing to provide entire details of remittances in person. But the reply through email is to wait till 31.12.2009 for a reply from the service provider.
I am holding all details of remittances made, please let me knnow how to proceed further.
