I bought E8 Motorola mobile for Rs. 13,0000/- on July 13th 2008. After using for two months it started getting switch off automatically and switch on after repeated efforts. I call customer care they asked me to reset it by inserting 000000 in reset menu. I do it and for some day it work nicely but i use to face this problem again anad again. Well I m in Bangalore and working for a Bank, so it was very difficult for me to visit their service center. Some how i tried and submitted the phone to Sagar e technologies service center of motorola at indira nagar bangalore on 27/1/09 (IMEIin - 359612010084043) or may be before that i don't remember, as the date mentioned in the receipt i m writing here. After submitting the cell i repeatedly call customer care asked for their help, at last they get ready to replace the cell as they informed that there was some fault in the mother board.
On 27/1/09 as the date mentioned in the receipt (as no dated of receiving the set is given). They given me set which look damage i complain but they said it is the only one u can get, so i request them to change the cover of the mobile with that of my earlier cell. Well as i started using the cell i come to know that the set was not new but some old set. I even complained about it to customer care. But as the set was working satisfactory, i started using it. Well after using for two three months the same problem started occuring in this set aslo whose (IMEI is 359612010223054). I used the say method of reseting, as u know as abanker I don't have the time to run for service center. Y i person invest so much money, only to get good service not to talk customer care or running around service center. As a result in September it get out of order and i submitted the set to Motorola service center Redington, bangalore on 3/10/09 (BC/MO/09/04433). After repeated chasing service center on phone for one month, they informed me that now my set is beyond ecomonical service cost, the sentence they use. It means that my Rs.13,000 phone is now scrap, for paying so much i cannot used that phone for a year freely. As they replace the set but still the fault was there. Now phone is not in warrenty period so they will not replace it. Repair is beyond economical. I don't know y company make such phone which has fault and sold them to people to make them fool. I requested customer several time to help me but they r not responding. Please inform wht to do. whether any thing can be done or my money has gone in water.
