Sir,

1. Undersigned has purchased Nokia N-97 on 4/11/2009 from M/s Realms (N-41, Connaught Circus, New Delhi-1 Ph No. 41088888, 41788888, 23323695). IMEI NO.354225037993677.

2. The very next day undersigned brought to the knowledge of retailer the following defects:
• Echo observed in the set
• When external speaker is put on opposite side find it difficult to
listen
• It is difficult to listen anything whenever earplugs are put.
• It takes very long time to get recharged
• It gets heated up

3. The retailer refused to acknowledge the above defects and intimated it is software problem and he has nothing to do with it.It really shocked me and it amounts to deficiency in service to customer. The undersigned contacted the customer care centre on Net and who advised me to approach M/S Gulati Communications, Nokia Service Centre New Delhi however, no improvement in the set was observed after upgrading of software.

4. The undersigned once again approached the said retailer for the change of set since the present set seems to defective, who in turn sent the set to M/S Gulati Communications Nokia Service Centre on 11 Nov 09. To my surprise wrong job order was given to Gulati Communication the job order mentioned was “Phone restart/ reboots instead of defects mentioned at Sl No 2 above.” The retailer obtained a satisfactory report from Gulati Communication on the bases of Wrong Job Order. The copies of both the job sheets and the purchase voucher No REALMS/6131 dt 04 Nov 09 are enclosed.

5. It can be seen that the retailer intentionally indulged in cheating by obtaining the false report from service centre and it also proves that the set is defective.

6. In view of this you are requested to take action against both the retailer as well as the service centre for deliberately and intentionally submitting a false report and retailer may please be advised to replace the defective set at the earliest.
