    Default harassment by airtel

    I had been using airtel postpaid connection (9910302452) till june 2009 and till this period the outstanding billing amout was Rs 1765/- which I paid off.

    At that point of time I requested airtel through phone calls and emails to terminate the service on the abovementioned number. I also removed the airtel sim card from my phone. But surprisingly airtel has been sending bills for another outstanding amout of Rs 1510 for last two-three months.

    Also the company has been sending recovery agents to my house and threatening to take legal action against non-payment of the bill for the period during which I never used the phone.

    Default Harrassment by Airtel

    I stopped using my number (9810098614) last year from March'09. As there was an advance rental paid for a year which was valid till June/july. After this, they again charged me advance rental,for whcih I sent a mail that I am not ineterested to continue this number so pl reverse and and close this acount. Till that time there was no outstanding towards me. They acknolwded the request and confirmed to me that they will resolve this and confirm me. After this I have been served a legal notice.

    Is it the way to armtwist a customer and demand for advance payment for which the customer is not interested to continue the services. This shows that how airtel makes profit by harrasing the customer for the sevrices, for which he is not liable. Top of it they have agnecy who also claims to charge for serving the notice. This is totalling black mailing a customer who had been a platinum customer and was associated for 11 years. This is how professional relationship and service attitude they have. I request Mr. Sunil Bhrti Mittal should look into this personally and stop such behaviour of his organisation.
