    Default Advertising calls & SMS on the mobile.

    Hi,

    I am tired with getting Advertising SMS & calls on my cell. I have also registered my cell numbers to do not distrube, but no changes. Till date I am getting some many SMS through out the day & daily getting so many calls from Insurance etc. I would like to understand, who has given permission to the mobile operator(Vodafone) to share my number with these advertiser & why should I get these calls, if the same is not opted by me....

    Please advise, how to get rid of these....

    Dear Mr. Singh,

    If you have already registered your name in DND registry and still receiving promotional calls from the service provider, then pls. forward your complaint to the Nodal officer of the Co. to stop such calls and SMSs.
