    Default AIRTEL - Roaming signal in local network

    Good morning,
    My mobile no. is 9787088802. In the month of June i used MNP from vodafone to airtel. during the initial activation of airtel sim, it showed roaming symbol for network. But, the sim was purchased in my local town and i'm using it in local town. The problem is, if I selected the option for switching off internet during roaming in my phone settings, the internet is disconnected because its taking that i'm in roaming. Made a complaint to airtel customer care and my problem is still not resolved. Please give me some suggestions or shall I move to some other network. Which network is best? Thanks in advance.

    Default Similar Problem (roaming network not disconnected)

    Recently I got a duplicate sim after i lost my old phone. Whenever I cross my state border, roaming doesn't get activated automatically (not a phone problem, i have confirmed), I have to manually select the roaming network (eventhough my default setting in phone is to select automatically). I have to do the same thing again when i come back to my state, I have to select my home state network manually. I think there is some problem with new sims.
