This is to bring to your attention the unruly behaviour of Tata's customer services' department; I've been a Tata customer for long now, and this isn't the first time, I've encountered this kind of an issue, and it has forced me to take this up seriously, now.
Matter-
My Tata number 9250***878 has been on the National "Do not call" list for a while now, and I don't receive any unwanted calls. However, despite my being on the DO NOT CALL list & despite my not choosing any caller tune myself, TATA imposed/applied a caller tune to my number 9250***878, & consequently, deducted INR 30 from my account.
To resolve this, I called TATA customer care on 27June/CABC07082925, and told them about this issue; They, initially, didn't accept their fault, and tried to blame me for the whole thing. After 15-20 mins of my explaining to them, they agreed to take it off and refund INR 30 to me within the next 48 business hours. I, patiently, waited to get my money back, but it never got refunded.
After 4-5 days, I went online, and lodged a complaint once again; TATA, on their website, promised me to contact me within the next 48Hours. To my displeasure, this, as well, never happened.In fact, they closed the call without taking any actions on the same. Now this is annoying! What's more, TATA isn't taking my call, and has blocked my number as well. Extremely displeasing!
