I have purchase a new Nokia E5-00 on last week of October 2010. Its EMEI no. is 352023045088263 but now from last two months I am facing heavy network drop problem at any basement, inside of any building, high ways and interiors. I have checked this with other phone they were showing full network that time i have exchange the sim with other phone on that my sim was showing full network and my phone is showing no network with other sim. I have visited many nokia care centres but they can’t understand my problem because they are in main city and open area. At last Nokia care Kanpur (shop no.301, express road, Kanpur) has understood my problem because their workshop is in basement. They have taken my phone on 22/3/12 and returned on 23/3/12 with o.k. certificate and charged Rs. 220/- with cash receipt no.- 2400 dt.-23/3/12. But the problem still exists. Then I visited on 24/3/12, this time they referred my handset to Delhi H.O. and returns it on 13/4/12 with no charge and O.K. certificate. But within a day I found the problem still persists. Then I ask them about the problem, now they are telling me the major problem with mother board and the only solution is change the mother board and it will cost near about 80% of new hand set
I have asked about this problem to customer care Nokia (+91-80-30303838) but they are also telling that the set is out of warranty so I will pay the charge.
Since It is totally a manufacturing defect
Kindly guide me, as I can’t afford so heavy repairing charge or new costly handset within one and half year
