Dear Concerned,

I purchased a new nokia 3110c, on 3rd june, 2009, frm a registred mobile store shop, chennai.

by december, one fine day, i found, that im not able to view any contacts, as my set got hanged.

I took it to authorised service station, and they said, its a software issue, and got corrupted for some reasons.

They said, they are formatting it and all contacts wil be lost, but the handset will be perfectly ok, and asked me not to connect direcetly to any lap top or pc, and i followed the same.

Within next 30 plus days, i faced the same prob, and again they say, that this is a software issue, and they got to format it.

I told them, my contacts are more important than the handset, and being a short time, i did nt take my back up for the master datas.

I asked justification, of loosing my handset software in such short tenure, and no one is ready to reply.

Now, when i approach the customer care, they arrogantly say, that the same is serviced and i got to take t back, and no question of replacement of handset.

When i said, i cannt take it back, as there is no assurance given for the software, they got the guts to say, its my wish.

I wish to take it to the consumer court for two reasons,

1. for dealing the the customer with arrogance where i paid money of 4k, and from the authorised showroom, and on top of it, the warrnaty still remains.

2.For making me to loose all the contacts not once, but twice in such short period, and forcing me to take back the handset without taking it up with the higher level.

Im writting this with lot of pain, and the reason for me to go with this complaint is taking the customer for granted should b stopped.
