    Angry Airtel complaint - unfair balance deductions

    Hi,

    My mobile number is 9975050941.

    I recharged on 12/05/2012 for Rs. 295.00 and next day I found out that around Rs. 200.00 had been deducted from my balance without me being informed. I got to know about it when i checked my balance the next day on 13/05/2012.

    Next time I recharged by Rs. 120.00 on the 29/05/2012 and on the 02/06/2012 again my balance got deducted around Rs. 100.00 about which I again did not recive any message from airtel.

    I called up 198 which is the complaints number for airtel on 03/06/2012. I spoke to the 1st representative to whom i explained the above and asked for an explanation why the balance is getting deducted. For which he said he will check and get back to me and he hung up on me.

    After which I called again and spoke to another representative whom I had to explain everything again. I knew he would hang up on me so I asked to speak to his manager. So he was very rude and shouted and said wait I will transfer your call.

    Finally after 9 minutes call was transfered to a Senior named Kiran. I spoke to him explained him everything. He told me I had subsciribed to games club for which I have been charged Rs. 99.00 which is already renewed now and he will not be able to refund that to me. I told him I have not subscribed to anything called games club. Regarding Games club I had called in march or april when I was charged Rs. 95.00 for which I got an SMS. Which again I had not done anything to subscribe to that. So I called up 198 and spoke to some manager and got that cancelled and got the full Rs. 95.00 refunded at that time. So I told kiran to check that complaint as I called and asked for that to be cancelled so how can that service be renewed again. So he kept on saying that as it is already renewed nothing can be done and he cannot refund any balance which has been cut and he offered me Rs. 10.00 as credit from his end. I asked to speak to his senior for which he refused stating that I am speaking to a senior and cannot speak to anyone more senior. I again asked him to check if I must have subscribed for games club I must have used to and asked him to check if I had used that service as I had never used it. He said he will check this and instead hung up on me.

    Thats the time I got fed up and did not have the stamina to call again and talk to anyone else. I got a SMS then from airtel AM-airtelMO 'Thank you for contacting airtel. Your request reference no. registered on 03-jun-2012 21:19 is CBDWP20603696049'.

    Then I have filled up a online complaints form after which I got a SMS 'Thank you for writing to airtel. Your reference number is PR060300090, we will get back to you in 2 working days'.

    Please help on what should I do about this as I am fed up.

    I got a message stating that I will get a response in 2 working days. I guess today is the 2nd working day and I am anticipating a reply soon from any source either by you or anybody else and the query to be resolved soon as well.
