Complain type: Idea disconnected outgoing facility from CUG number.

Description: About 2 years back I took two Idea CUG connections and submitted all relevant documents to Idea representative. Now after 2 years of uses on Saturday 05/09/09 I got SMS from Idea cellular saying my documents are incomplete and hence my outgoing service is kept on hold. By sms Idea asked me to submit documents to Idea outlets. Till the time I was barred from making any outgoing call or SMS.

On Moday 07/09/09 I reached to Idea outlet called Ajinkya Communication Nigdi submited documents and as asked by Idea person there filled complete new form with ID proof and adress proof. As asked by customer care person Idea person at Ajinkya Commu. given a mail saying all documents recieved please resume the service and agreed to resume it in 1-2 hours. Now its more than 30 hours still service is not started. I sent mail from Idea outlet to Nodal officer as well customer care person but till date no written reply from them. Now they are saying that unless documents reach to Idea office service won't start.

Suprisingly my second number with same documents is still working and without any interruption. Please let me know can charge Idea cellular for such brainless stuff? Also can we get clarification from Idea on follwing points? I have mail communication from Ajinkya Communication to Idea.

1) If documents were not okay at the time of initial form submission why the service has been started? If it started to get customers then its unethical.
2) For reason of documents (which missed by Idea) barring customers outgoing is it justified?

Dear Mr. Kulkarni,

Pls. send a written complaint to the Nodal office of the Co. to get any help for your complaint. The Nodal officer will have to provide you solution within 10 days. Wait for the response for max. 10 days and do inform us about the response from him. The Email address is: grievance.mh@idea.adityabirla.com

Dear Sir/Mam,

Already send this complaint to Nodal officer on 7th Sept. Got reply yesterday evening @ 7pm saying you outgoing calls has been activated on the number.
But in reality my sim got deactivated from company which is not at all informed by company. When called customer care person he told that new sim allotted to the number 9922926936. I didn't recieve any new sim from Idea before deactiavting old sim. Now Nodal officer asking to collect it from Idea outlet Ajinkya Commu. (as mentioned mail above).
Still Idea has not cleared who is going to bear the cost of the sim?

If you are not satisfied with the response of Nodal officer, you can approach the next level i.e. Appellate Authority of the Co.

Problem solved after reporting complain to Appellate Autho. Idea offered new sim, without any additional charge. Thanks a lot.

I disconnected my idea net setter number through one of the idea executive. I asked many times to that executive whether my numberl has been disconnected or not..he told me very clearly that your number has been disconnected and then he has activated new idea net setter number. Yest i got my old number bill of 2807. while talking with customer care , they are telling that my old number still not disconnected and you need to pay the all outstanding bill.

I didn't use even single MB after disconnecting from my end.

This is not my fault at all.

Please let me know here what can i do ?
