Complain type: Idea disconnected outgoing facility from CUG number.
Description: About 2 years back I took two Idea CUG connections and submitted all relevant documents to Idea representative. Now after 2 years of uses on Saturday 05/09/09 I got SMS from Idea cellular saying my documents are incomplete and hence my outgoing service is kept on hold. By sms Idea asked me to submit documents to Idea outlets. Till the time I was barred from making any outgoing call or SMS.
On Moday 07/09/09 I reached to Idea outlet called Ajinkya Communication Nigdi submited documents and as asked by Idea person there filled complete new form with ID proof and adress proof. As asked by customer care person Idea person at Ajinkya Commu. given a mail saying all documents recieved please resume the service and agreed to resume it in 1-2 hours. Now its more than 30 hours still service is not started. I sent mail from Idea outlet to Nodal officer as well customer care person but till date no written reply from them. Now they are saying that unless documents reach to Idea office service won't start.
Suprisingly my second number with same documents is still working and without any interruption. Please let me know can charge Idea cellular for such brainless stuff? Also can we get clarification from Idea on follwing points? I have mail communication from Ajinkya Communication to Idea.
1) If documents were not okay at the time of initial form submission why the service has been started? If it started to get customers then its unethical.
2) For reason of documents (which missed by Idea) barring customers outgoing is it justified?
