Default Vodafone Deactivated my no. Delhi

I m very disappointed with the SERVICES vodafone have for their existing (or maybe ex-) costumers, after numerous e-mails, and constant calling at call-centres i still haven't heard from any vodafone representative till date.

I guess i should have done posting here much earlier, but hopes towards vodafone stopped me from posting on 3rd party websites but after disappointed from the company response I m posting my complaint email i have sent to many vodafone executives/representatives but with no reply other than automated responds.

    Dear Sir,

I’m a member of Vodafone(Hutch) family from the past 8 years and without any problem I have enjoyed the services from Hutch and Vodafone, until last week when I found out my Vodafone number 9899882260 has been deactivated because of some inactivity policy.

I was out of the country for past 2 months and was not carrying my phone along with me and when I landed back and tried my number it was “not in-use”. I called up customer care centre on night of 26th may 2012, the executive on the call told me to visit Vodafone store in lajpat nager-II where I could restore this number. On 27th may 2012 I visited the Vodafone store and without understanding my problem I was asked to visit Okhla ph-II office, so I excused my whole weekday and went straight to Okhla Vodafone office where suddenly I was told that Vodafone can’t help me in this matter as the number is re-circulated and I can’t not even buy the same number from the Vodafone store. I fail to understand that why I can’t buy my number directly from Vodafone store even if its circulated to be sold?

I’m very disappointed and annoyed with this situations i have to face after being associated with this cooperation and being a valued customer for the past 8 years. Through my Paytm online account I found out that I last recharged the number on 14th march 2012 and left India on the next morning.

Its needless to say how all this is affecting my personal life as well as my Professional Architectural practice where my contact number is my identity for my clients and associates who were connected to me through this number for the associated past years.

So I request you to please help me with this situation and restore my number 9899882260 back to me ASAP.
(P.S. I have no objection if there is any process fee regarding this)

    Warm Regards,

    G. Singh

I'm glad that today i received my no. from vodafone.
having said that I still believe cellular companies should have reasonable policies regarding inactivity.
