    Default Airtel Service Request : 43460945

    Dear Sir,

    I am an Airtel Postpaid subscriber bearing the account number: 1021111637

    I submitted a request for the migration of my number from postpaid to prepaid on 24-Apr-2012. I submitted two copies of my id and address proof and two photographs at Vikrampuri ARC Hyderabad and made a payment of Rs1080/- (980 towards outstanding and 100 towards airtel money). The executive at the store assured me about the migration will be done in 24 hours, but this did not happen.

    I followed by with airtel customer care and was suggested to visit the nearest airtel ARC to get the request addressed who in turn directed me to write a mail to customer care.
    I have been chasing with Airtel on this since over a month and was finally suggested that the migration would happen on 20-May-2012 (at the completion of my billing cycle).

    Now my billing cycle is completed however, there is still no update on my request. On following up with airtel customer care, I just get a generic reply stating below:

    "
    Thank you for your email to airtel and the feedback provided. We regret the inconvenience caused to you and we have already forwarded your concern to the concerned department."

    This has been a wild goose chase for me since two months and I still do not have any resolution for the request.

    As this is a public forum, I haven't specified my mobile number. If needed I can share further details including my mobile number and the email communication with Airtel.

    Ranga,

    This is incorrect. Please refrain from providing misleading information on the forum.

    The problem was never resolved. In fact it has worsened now.
    I am unable to make or receive any calls on my number since 05-Jun-2012.

    If your team is unable to address the request, then atleast don't worsen it.

    I didn't see your post until today, else I would have updated it sooner.
