Ridiculous 2G or GPRS Airtel charges!

    Default Ridiculous 2G or GPRS Airtel charges!

    I am a customer of Airtel since 2006, I have used 302701 KB (295.60 MB) and my number is (9900205872) data under 2G or GPRS service but Airtel is charged Rs.2854.43/295.60 MB data i.e Rs.10/MB data.
    None of service provider will charge, this much huge charge just for 295MB
    data, 1GB data = Rs.10,240.00, I feel this is daylight robbery!.
    This is highly not affordable, unacceptable and ridiculous charge!.
    That too this service (2g or GPRS) activated by itself and I have not requested this service activation!.

    If I have taken unlimited per month under 2G it would have been Rs 98/month but
    how could you charge such a huge amount?.
    And also no of proper communication is sent me about such a unacceptable charges
    from anyone, if that is the case, I would have never used your service.
    I sent many complaints but no use, my outgoing calls are deactivated now!.

    Please look into this issue and update me at the earliest.

    I have provided my alternate contact number is +91 9483 2007 23 and escalated same in airtel.in/airtelpresence (PO051800039) on May 18, 2012 but no one communicated so far and nothing is been resolved.

    I am using this number +91 9483 2007 23, every day i am receiving many calls and how could your not reachable to this number???????? really i am wondering for your reply.

    Please provide me your number I can contact you!

    The mentioned issues not yet resolved always I get ready made reply as replied above by Airtel Presence (Airtel Customer Service Team).
    I have escalated this issue in airtelpresence (PO051800039) and sent mail to airtelpresence@in.airtel.com but no one tried show interest to resolve this issue.
    I dont think the issue will be resolved here, so I escalated this issue to TRAI (Telecom regulatory Authority of India).

    1. My Airtel number 9900205872 is disconnected, no incoming calls and no outgoing calls because of this issue! then how are you trying contacting this number (9900205872) and sending message ?????????? how can I see your message or how can i receive your calls????

    2. I have given my alternative contact +91 9483200723 here and airtelpresence (PO051800039) why are you not trying to send message or calling to this number???????

    3. Finalize the issue from your end and send mail
    to my email registered in Airtel.in i.e hellogmg@gmail.com/call/message, so that i can take decision for further proceedings.

    4. I have raised concern w.r.t TRAI ACT F.No.305-15/2011-QoS under section 2

    i.e 2G or GPRS service is activated in my mobile number 9900205872 without my explicit consent and with unacceptable charges!!!!!!

    Reference :

    (
    Direction under Section 13, read with sub-clauses (i) and (v) of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997) and clause 11 of the Telecom Tariff Order, 1999, on obtaining explicit consent of consumers for subscribing and renewing of Value Added Services.)

    2.And whereas the Authority had, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under Section 13, read with sub-clauses (i) and (v) of clause (b) of sub- section (1) of section 11 of the TRAI Act, issued the Direction F.NO. 305-
    8/2004-QOS dated the 3rd May, 2005, directing all Cellular Mobile Service Providers and Unified Access Service Providers that no chargeable value added service shall be provided to a customer without his explicit consent and that
    July, 2011any value added service, which was earlier being provided free of charge, shall not be made chargeable without the explicit consent of the customer;
