I have recharged my mobile via one of the on-line site. After few minutes I got a message from Idea saying that my recharge was successful but ti was not showing the recharge amount. After few minutes alter I received another message saying that GPRS services request is received by me. After reading that message I immediately talked to Customer representative where he assured me that They will not start this service as I have not initiated any request and my money (210/-) will get revert back to my account in 24 Hrs. This conversation happens on 23rd March 2012. When I asked Customer care office to give me my compalint ID so that I can keep a track in case money will not revert back to me. He told me they can't take this as a complaint.
After 24 hrs when they didn't return my money back to my account I called them back where they said It was my mistake I should have done recharge of 200 instead of 210. When I asked them that GPRS was not initiated by me.l At least they should take confirmation from me regarding that service and even I have called them immediately. On this customer care office told me that they have not activated my GPRS service but they can't even return me my money back. When I told them that I wish to speak with their seniors they said they all are busy and I can call after some time. I asked him to log a complaint regarding this and he clearly refused to do so.
I told him if it was wrong recharge then they should have revert back my transaction. In fact they have not started GPRS service as well. But he was not in mood to listen to my request and every time he asked me to call back.
After some time when I called back they told me that they are checking my account info and then they told me that their system is down so I can not talk with their seniors.
This has happened many times. 198 is the Customer care complaint number. but if you call on this number they will not take your complaint. You can't talk to their seniors and every time you call them if its their fault then their system will be down .
Please help me to solve this matter. I really want them to kn ow how to behave with their customers.
