Complaint against airtel mobile number portabality Dear sir
I am an airtel Post paid customer bearing my number 9980083243,and my bill payments are upto date till now with out any dues, last month 24/01/2012 i opt to port my No. to Tata docomo and sent a Message for porting to Airtel and i got the porting ID AX342646 and the expiry is on 08/02/2012, i filed my documents and procedure in Tata Docomo, next day airtel personel called me that they are offering some discounts on my bill plan, i did not agree & i told them that i am switching over to Tata Docomo pl. do the needy. Then on 07/02/2012 i checked that my No. is not ported i called to airtel customer care on 06/02/2012. that on our side no problem every thing is correct you enquire in Tata docomo. On 07/02/2012 i went to Tata Docomo office and enquired about the problem there they showed me that from Airtel they have rejected stating wrong Porting ID. I checked the porting ID that i have given to them, it is exactly same and correct Porting ID, then i called to airtel customer care, i did not get any unfair answer or solution from them, then i went to airtel customer care center Koramangala waited for hours, called 2 to 3 times to call center, then they gave me nodal officer No. it is also not connecting. Then i contacted manager he enquired me about the problem then he typed some matter in the system & then he told the problem will be solved within 24 hours. Nothing is happened so far. my Question is
1. Why the airtel people rejecting giving wrong statement (i.e wrong Porting ID) ?
2. Why the airtel person (Customer Care) giving wrong information and guidance ?
3. Is this kind of service airtel is offering to the customer ?
Totally i am fed up with this kind of service. I now think Airtel personel will look into my problem and resolve my issue.
