    Default BSNL to Airtel - MNP Pending

    Hi,

    I had applied for MNP from my BSNL number to AIRTEL on 28-Dec-2011 from Reach Telecommunications, Chrompet, Chennai. I had submitted the application with UPC, ID proof and Photo. I had been contacting the Customer care's of BSNL and AIRTEL after a week since applying and they made me shuttle back forth between them. BSNL said AIRTEL has to give request so call up AIRTREL custometr care. AIRTEL said BSNL has to port out and only then they can acticvate the sim. I had to call both these customer cars' for almost a montha and by then my application became invalid.


    Finally i was asked to contact the AIRTEL customer relationship center from where i had applied for MNP. So i contacted Reach telecommunications, chrompet. And then I came to know that due to the negligence of the the personnal in that center, my MNP request was not initiated at all..! They asked me to apply again and i did so on 30-Jan-2012 with new UPC and ID proof and photograph. But still i cant find any progress in my request. I have been trying to contact airtel customer care for the past one week, but everytime my call gets disconnected before reaching the customer care person. BSNL customer care says they have not received airtel's reuqest for MNP and only after that they can start processing.


    How longer will i have to keep applying every month for this MNP? The BSNL signal in my area is very bad, hence the request for AIRTEL MNP.

    I have already dropped a mail to "airtelpresence@in.airtel.com" with all the necessary details regarding my complaint. Please look into resolving the issue soon.

    My number has been successfully ported out of BSNL and i am now using my Airtel sim. Thanks for following up with my complaint and resolving it at the earliest.
