Still i am waiting for Airtel 3G internet data pack to be activated. Somebody help or suggest how to find solution for this problem

I have paid 650 for a 3G pack of 1GB at a claimed speed of 7.2MB/sec, I recharged my number with this plan on 25/1/2012 and accordingly activated the 3G services by sending SMS to 121. But since then i have not been able to use the service. And during this whole time till now my internet speed on my HTC Legend handset has been pathetic than my 2G internet speed.
I called the customer care and complained them about my concerns. But instead i was transferred to technical team, who instead helping me out they said that 3G service was not activated from my end. And they also told me that i had just recharged for 650rs 3G plan.
I called them 4 times till now, but they have no solution for my problem and keep mentioning that there is technical issue from airtel side and it will take only 4hrs for my cell phone to have 3G service. It is really hurting for spending my hard earned money for a service which i have not availed till now. I get only 30 days validity to use the offer, in which i have already lost 4 nights. And no way i am able to use the 7.2MB/sec speed to help prepare for my Official presentations and work.
As per my experience so far, airtel people are so stupid that they make me get angry with their crappy customer service. At least they should have some dignity to help customers with proper answers. Rather than mentioning "There is technical difficulty and within 4hrs everything will be sorted out".
And thank you airtel for me trusting in a "Great.. but good for nothing brand like you", because of whom i got screwed with late presentations. I was really counting on your 7.2 MB/sec speed to gear up for my presentations. I need compensation for the amount of energy and my time wasted in talking to these useless people.

I have recharged my 3G sim with 750 rs which is not working yet. It always shows me a normal GPRS connection symbol E rather than showing 3G & provides pathetic speed in using Internet services.
