    Angry faliure in deactivating games club service airtel

    i have been using airtel since years, many times i've lost hundreds of rupees in games club service, but on 1 jan 2012 this service was activated by an application in my mobile. I sent a request to deactivate the service. Then i got a confirmation sms on same date that the service is successfully deactivated but then also the deduction of balance was continued by airtel @ rs 5/day till today. I called 121 & 198 many times but every time they say that now the service has been deactivated and no balance will be deducted onwards but the deduction of balance is still going on...

    i have been using airtel since years, many times i've lost hundreds of rupees in games club service, but on 1 jan 2012 this service was activated by an application in my mobile. I sent a request to deactivate the service. I called 121 & 198 many times but every time they say that now the service has been deactivated and no balance will be deducted onwards but the deduction of balance is still going on...

    This is the same complaint as Mr. Pavan above. I have been using airtel for years and now the same problem of automatic activation of games club membership and monthly deduction of Rs.99 is going on without my consent. I was not even aware of such a thing as games club all these years and now I am a member automatically. I tried with customer care at 121 twice and both gave me a number *121*5# which is not working. I tried other SMS which also did not work. I also see so many complaints in the internet regarding this. I wonder if the airtel management is aware of it or not. Since 2009 there has been complaints regarding this. Please revert.
