    Default Poor Customer care official response ( Airtel )

    Sir,
    For the past 45 months am using airtel network sim ( 36 months - Postpaid & 9 months - changed to Prepaid - same number ). My problematic mobile no is 9003922343.

    On 25/Jan/2012 morning suddenly they blocked my sim ( Incoming & Outgoing Facility ), Currently My sim card balance is 260 Rs.
    I called customer care but their response is very poor and they are talking in very rude manner.

    Without any proper prior information they Blocked my sim & Customer care official response is also very poor.

    I need your support.

    This is a SCAM by airtel - Here is what happened to me - They are doing it deliberately and siphoning money in this way I have an airtellandline/dsl since 2005 but I have been having constant
    disturbance on my line. As these were not rectified, I bought an airtel sim
    card and gave as my verification details - a copy of my passport, my driving
    licence and airtel landline number. I also put an additional recharge of Rs
    500. (mobile no 9910372318) packed Nov 2011 - activated on 20.12.2011.
    Further, I got a verification call in which I verified all the details. A few
    days later, I found my number blocked and I was asked per mobile to verify my
    account, I did so but it was not actiivated. I called again and the lady
    started misbehaving and started asking me my 'marital details'. This is a sheer
    breech of privacy. Finally I got someone on the line who activated my calls.

    Yesterday suddenly my sim was blocked saying that it could not be verified.
    This is all the more absurd as I had earlier received a payment alertfrom
    airtel regarding my landline/dsl though I had not registered my number.
    Subsequently Icalled the customercare for mobiles but 3 times the phone was put
    down on me.



    Finally I called up several other numbers and got the following 9818334865
    (nodal officer Vikrant Pandey. I spoke to a Mr Vijay who said the problem would
    be immediately rectified. He gave me a REF No: F-989873876 and siad I should
    dial 46081111. I called there and gave them the Ref. They said they could do
    nothing and that I should call up yet another number 9818334865. There I spoke
    to a Ms Nasim who said that the reason the verification had failed is that the
    number was to be in the name of a Sunita devi. Therefore I shouldresubmit my
    documents to the Relationship Centre and it would be immediately activated. I
    went to the Centre and the man started misbehaving and when I asked him for his
    name, he refused to give it. Furthermore he threatened me and told the others
    that they should make sure the problem was not rectified. He then said it was
    the fault of the dealer. I subsequently went to the dealer who showed and gave
    me back the form that had been filled in which clearly shows my name, my
    landline number and all my documents attested. No reason had been given by
    airtel as to why the papers were returned. This is pure cheating and a SCAM.

    Post customer Complaint

    Myself Dr Thota Hanumantharao (Dr T H Rao ) have four airtel postpaid connections , two of AP circle in the name of Thota NarayanaRao And two of Maharashtra circle and I pay everymonth by cheque either from my S B A/C or our company account CMS Consultants .

    I have never defaulted payment. The harrassment from Chennai call centr people started from March begginning
    though I paid February bill on 28 Feb 12 totalling Rs 2825. They credited the amount meant for the first two numbers to some other numbers and harrassing me to pay again pending their action.I complained and talked about the problem
    and issued another cheque for Rs 1929 towards the amount due in March on 29 March 12 Again they are sending messages and calls from call centre ,averaging 4 calls per day per phone from different call centre executives. About three weeks ago
    out going and roaming barred for 8978952333 and threatening to cut service to 8978942333.

    I have given several emails to 121@in.airtel.com from mail IDs hrthota@gmail.com, hrthota@yahoo.co.in
    You can again search the mails from my mail IDs and observe no action was taken though automated mail deadlines were given . To Several call centre supervisors i have explained all these details,harassment calls are being recieved for the first two numbers belonging to AP Circle.Service to second number discontinued for the last three weeks.

    NO Solution is in sight. I found many share my plight.
