IDEA UP West Prepaid - Major Problem (+Airtel) i have been airtel customer for for 4.5 years but somehow my airtel got ported out to IDEA,
1. i had not requested it
2. is it possible to switch without customer permission
3. how is it can be done?
still not clear How, but any ways. Now i got my number back same number on idea.
My question is simple how to STOP IT HAPPENING IT again, without my permission/knowledge someone else PORT OUT my number.

1. I still got the original SIM card holder of original SIM i register in May/June 2007
2. Bill payment made to Airtel
3. Bill in my email from airtel about my Airtel Number
4. still got most of the sms sent/received to that number
its such a mental stress that someone is having your number.
I am not going to leave it like that, i will move the court againt Airtel for the mental harassment i am going through.
In my family we all have Airtel connection's, but after this epiode our trust in Airtel is shaken up.
I am ready to give all proofs to Airtel to prove the ownership of my number.
1. how someone can get someone else number without owner approval ??? Porting is to help us out not to create problems for
customer's.

here is the timeline i got from airtel and idea
1. 30th nov 2011 sim working sim fine,
2. someone got new sim issued from airtel in my name - first week of dec
3. send the porting request to transfer to idea mobile up west
4. after request of PORTING code, the person switch off mobile
5. on 16th airtel number got changed to idea mobile
6. after porting number to idea switch of number again, just to avoid problem
This is case of sheer fraud, cheating, and 420, i am going to go to court and move the court against
the person, airtel for my number porting.
When i explain these thing to Airtel guys they says, its my problem not their's (Airtel's).
OK I agree.
But if someone do a little research from airtel office he can get
1. from which airtel office new sim issued, using which SIM porting code was genrated
2. documents submitted to get a new sim, the person must have submitted fraud documents in my name, worng singature
3. airtel (mobile companies) keep record of IMEI of phone from which sms/call was started
4. so they can now also track the person who started all this problem, and airtel agent, office
5. they can track very easily who gave NEW sim, who activated the SIM, all records are being kept by Airtel
6. they (Airtel) can easily check for last 4 and 1/2 years who was using the number, i still got original SIM holder May 2007 issued
7. all sms sent and recived to and from 9897867862 to my other number's
8. email bills i got from airtel
9. bill payment receipt for the same number
But they seems not to help customer in any way even when they can see its was a FRAUD transaction done because of which
a inocent customer has to suffer.
When i will move court i will raise all these issues. But being a loyal airtel customer i would like to get
it settle out of court.
But in no way i am going to leave the number like that.

But Mr Ranga please give me a call on 9911349411 and tell me
1. how it is solved - number in depute still not with me!
2. when - when the dispute was over (that mean's i being the owner of number got back number)
3. where - where this transaction took place of handing over the my number back to me
So please tell me WHAT DO MEAN BY "YOUR CONCERN LISTED 20 JAN 2012, HAS BEEN RESOLVED".
If it has to do anything by you posting the above message, than sure the matter is over.
Otherwise please do give me a call and HOW THE MATTER IS RESOLVED!
below this line i am doing copy paste the same thing you guys doing to your customers problem.
