Hello Everyone,
I am existing Airtel Prepaid User (9967801017). I applied for Portability request from Airtel to Vodafone on Friday, January 13, 2012 and was rejected second time. First time I was rejected because my number was connected for less than 90 days and this time it was rejected because Airtel Team committed that I have some contractual obligation with them. The story is when I applied on Friday (Jan 13) with UPC Code AM135947 I started receiving calls from Airtel on Saturday (Jan 14) onwards till Tuesday (Jan 17). They were offering me good tariff offers and were trying to convince not to move from Airtel. I completely disagreed to any of their offers then on Wednesday (Jan 18) I received message that “your current operator has rejected due to there are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement”. Where else I have never agreed to their offers or contracts. This is a very cheap trick played by the background team. This shows how they treat their customers and how they can cheat them easily. Henceforth I will not at all recommend anybody to go with Airtel. Although I don’t know what the next steps would be taken from their side but I am fed up of the kind of service they give to their customers. If anyone in Airtel is trustworthy I request you to please look into this issue and get my portability done as early as possible because my entire friend circle is with Vodafone. PLEASE HELP!!!
Regards,
Shrikant
