Here is a copy of my mail to Airtel. It is self explanatory.

I have been your customer for long years now. I have this complaint against your services which may be redressed immediately.

On 15.01.2012 at 2.52 p.m. I received an SMS informing me that "Bipasha Secrets" services have been made active on my airtel mobile and that Rs. 1/day is being charged to me. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SUCH ACTIVATION OR REQUEST WAS EVER MADE BY ME.

Immediately I sent a SMS to 121 to STOP the services. I dont know whether the services were stopped or not but since then I am being charged Rs. 1/day.

Today i.e. 18.01.2012. I again sent a SMS to STOP the service to 121 and got a reply from 1210 that there are no services active on my airtel number.

I dont understand why I am being charged Rs. 1/day for no fault on my part and most importantly without me asking for any services.

You may appreciate that the above tatamounts to UNDUE HARASSMENT TO ME AS WELL AS UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE TO SWINDLE THE CUSTOMER.

This complaint may please be taken up immediately and

1. The amounts deducted from my balance be paid to me immediately.
2. Suitable compensation be paid to me for this undue harassment.

All actions may please be completed within 24 hrs failing which I shall be taking up the matter to the higher forums.
