I am facing harrassment from vodafone since the past 3 months.
Firstly, I was not receiving my bill (neither hard copy nor the soft copy), after complaining on 198 several times, i received the same
Due to the excessive amount being charged to me, I had visited the vodafone store in Parel (peninsula towers) in order to seek help and get a more economical plan so as to reduce my bill
I was suggested a plan wherein the monthly rental is Rs. 199 and i was provided an additional scheme wherein calls on any one vodafone no will be free
After informing the executive that my sms usage is very high, i was suggested a scheme wherein i get 350 msgs free on paying Rs. 35 extra on my monthly rental. However, I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT ABOVE THESE FREE MSGS, I WILL BE CHARGED RE. 1/ SMS. Due to this lack of communication, I was charged Rs. 900 only for smses.
Also, I have started using an android phone only since the past 1 month and since I did not have a data plan yet, I hav used internet ONLY in the presence of Wifi because as informed by the Vodafone executive, usage of internet in Wifi is FREE. However, it is extremely annoying and despite claiming all this, Vodafone has royally charged me Rs. 950 (approx) for internet usage. Post compaining about the same on 198, I was told that it was OBVIOUS that i will be charged 10p/kb by vodafone in the absence of an effective internet plan. They do not even consider it important to give this information to the customer.
I would want to ask you, how do you expect your customer (who is a layman and NOT a vodafone employee) to know this sort of a thing
To add to all these inconvenences, when I visited the Sion vodafone store around 2 weeks back and requested the executive to offer me a different sms scheme (of 1500 free smses) so as to avoid paying Re.1 /sms for another month, i was very kindly informed that this is not possible and that i will have to get the scheme changed only at the beginning of my next bill cycle (i.e. 4th dec), which means that for ONE MORE MONTH I WILL HAVE TO PAY THE EXTRA CHARGES
After making numerous complaints about all the above issues on 198 and visiting vodafone gallaries, i was told to mail all my queries/ complaints to vodafonecare.mum@vodafone.com and claims of getting a revert within 36 hours of writing the mail, with a lot of hopes i wrote the mail on the said id. I was asked to fill a form and submit the same. Even after doing so, for 10 days, i did not receive any revert from their end. Sadly though, every day i received atleast 2-3 calls asking me to pay my bill. I have sent them 3 mails, but all futile
my calls have now been barred and i still havent received any help from vodafone care on my complaints made. It is causing me extreme inconvenience. They are trying all possible means to force me to pay the money. Hoever, I refuse to do so.
I wish to port out of vodafone
I FEEL EXTREMELY HARRASSED AND REFUSE TO PAY EVEN A SINGLE PENNY TOWARDS VODAFONE FOR THIS KIND OF CHEATING AND THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS
