Hi,
My complaint is against mobile service operator Vodafone in Rajasthan. My vodafone number is one and a half months old and within a few days of activation I started hearing pre-call advertisement every time I make a call which would often last to a whopping 25-30 seconds of time before it even tries to initiate the call. One can imagine the inconvenience caused to the user because of this when making an urgent or important call. This became all the more frustrating when I found myself getting no help and clarification whatsoever from vodafone customer care executives, some of them were particularly unprofessional and suggested lack of training. Typical responses:
(i) "The issue will be resolved within 48 hours" - without even quoting a complaint number to me.
(ii) "Kitna loss ho raha hai?" - the guy replied mockingly when I said the delays are resulting in losses for me.
(iii) "Jo ad kah raha hai woh kar lo, ad band ho jaayenge".
(iv) "Company ke paas aisi koi complaint nai aai hai isliye hum kuchh nai kar sakte".
(v) "Intezaar karo, apne aap band ho jaayega".
(vi) "Nodal officer bhi kuchh nai kar sakte".
If this does not gets resolved, the only option would be to abandon Vodafone and switch to better mobile service. In this highly competitive mobile telecom industry there should not be any place for such imprudence.
