Bahrti Airtel free internet data not received

    Default Bahrti Airtel free internet data not received

    I have recharged my mobile number +91 9900940682 with Rs. 225 for 6GB of internet data on 04-Aug-2011. I have received only 2GB of data till date. I've placed more than 14-15 calls since 04-Sep-2011 regarding the remaining 4 GB of data which has not being credited. Each time I've been assured of issue getting resolved within 24 hours but the issue is still unresolved. I've written to airtelpresence@in.airtel.com and 121@in.airtel.com but have not received anything except the acknowledgement email. I've call recordings for the last 8 calls with each floor manager telling me a different story each time. Please see below the call reference numbers that have been give to me:

    1. 06-Sep-2011 : cmouc20922090697238000
    2. 16-Sep-2011 : cmouc2091623409200
    3. 19-Sep-2011 : 091948897700 reference number given by Mr. Kiran Kumar C.
    4. 29-Sep-2011 : 30930363391 reference number given by Mr. Nizamuddin

    Names of people I've spoken to till date regarding the same issue:

    1. Yuvaraj Marimuthu (16-Sep-2011) - Supervisor, Technical Department, Airtel. He promised issue resolution "within 24 hours" which did not happen.
    2. Dhilip
    3. P. Rajesh (17-Sep-2011) - Assistant Manager, Technical Helpline, Airtel.
    4. Kiran Kumar C. (19-Sep-2011) - Floor Supervisor, KNE, Airtel. He promised a call back with his manager "within 24 hours" which did not happen.
    5. Yusuf Khan (20-Sep-2011) - Floor Supervisor, KNE, Airtel. He promised a call back with manager which actually happened.
    6. Prashant (21-Sep-2011) - Floor Manager, KNE, Airtel. He said once I finished the existing free usage I would get the remaining free usage which did not happen.
    7. Manju (29-Sep-2011) - He promised issue resolution "within 24 hours" and he cut the call without waiting for me to finish talking.
    8. Nizamuddin (29-Sep-2011) - He promised a call back by today - 30-Sep-2011, 12:00 p.m. for which I'm waiting.

    As already mentioned I have the call recordings and fully intend to pursue this matter in a consumer court if the issue is not rectified. Please have a look at the call logs to know the level of incompetence and ignorance demonstrated by the airtel customer care execs and the false information that they've continuously provided.

    Rakesh, I've had enough reassurances. My contact number is not non contactable, it is functioning properly and I've not received any sms from you. Request you to check the number before dialling - it is +91 9900940682 and also, please let me know what is the exact error message you're receiving while dialling. I've already written to airtelpresense multiple times. Request you to check the airtelpresence inbox for the mail id : faruhr@gmail.com. I would like to see some action on this. Update on the complaint : Out of the pending 4GB of free internet date, 2GB of data was credited on 01-Oct-2011 with validity upto 30-Oct-2011 (This is reduced validity. After I had recharged for Rs. 225, I had validity till 01-Nov-2011), after I made 3-4 additional calls to the customer care. There is still 2GB of data which is to be credited.

    I received a call from Rahul - senior executive from the Airtel Corporate Office, New Delhi on 07-Oct-2011 who told me that the "matter was being looked into" and that I could expect a call by Monday/Tuesday (10-Oct-2011/11-Oct-2011) and I'm now waiting for the call and for Airtel to redress the issue.

    I'm still waiting to be contacted after the call from corporate office on 07-Oct-2011. I'm still waiting for this issue to be resolved. How many days does Airtel require to address a simple issue? The first complaint was registered with customer care on 04-Sep-2011. This is shameful.
