Hi National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission / Consumer Courts,
I have received the vodafone duplicate sim (post paid connetion) from the
Vodafone agent on 29.08.2009, as I lost the mobile. The agent had confirmed
the identity during the delivery and has given the commitment that all the
services will be activiated within 2 hours from 29.08.2009 at 12:00pm. It is
very irony that the services are not activited even on 30.08.2009 despite
confirmation that I have received the duplicate sim, The agents at Vodafone
(111) said on 29.08.2009 that their systems are down asked me to call again
and again and asked me provide credentials everytime I called, and they are
very rude that they can't give call back to me when their systems will be
up.. The Vodafone 0091 80 43410400 agent called me on 29.08.2009 and
assured that outgoing call services will be enabled within 30mins.. but the
assurance or services are blantant lie. When I call Vodafone agent on 111 -
30.08.2009 at 9am why can't they verify what was the commitment given by
previous agents on 29.08.2009???? for 9916136107 activation of outgoing
calls, they ask for credentials and I have totally lost their trust now.
Could you please advice, if action can be taken for the delay in reinstating
outgoing calls for post paid connection and lack of action to the previous
commitments by Vodafone and their agents who worked on my case on 29th and
30th August?
Thanks,
Hari

Hi,
Attention: Manager Customer Service,
Name: Hariram Mishra - Mobile Number: 9916136107
I have been a patron of Vodafone for the past 2.5 years, however am very
sadened and very disappointed to see the degradation in the
service/commitment provided by Vodafone 4341 0400 & 111 agents is
unacceptable. Actually I had lost mobile... so I do not need their sorry...
regrets.. I just want my outgoing calls to be ENABLED??????? Hope this
email is sufficient final evidence to perform the required action for
enabling the outgoing calls. Else this EMAIL is a CANCELLATION NOTICE for
9916136107 connection.
Incident:
a) My mobile was lost, so I had blocked my outgoing calls on Friday night
28.08.2009 - 10:30pm (reached to agent from landline)
b) Received call on my landline that the duplicate sim is being delivered at
10:00am on 29.08.2009 - Sim Received at 11:45am - Great service by Vodafone
customercare ( 0091 80 4341 0400 )
c) Was assured by the person who delivered that the services will be
reinstated within 2 hours. - Yes services was reinstated within 3.5 hours,
got confirmation call aswell from 0091 80 4341 0400 that I received the sim
and will be activitated.
d) Called 111 to the agents at 3:45pm through vodafone duplicate sim from
9916136107, I requested for allowing the outgoing calls. Reply from agent ->
systems were down need to call later
e) Called at 4:10pm, was told by another agent that it will take 2 hours for
the systems to be up, hence can't activate the outgoing calls.
f) Received call from 0091 80 4341 0400 at 6:35pm, that outgoing calls will
be enabled within next 30 mins
g) Received again immediate call from another agent 0091 80 43410400 at
6:45, provided credential verification again and was assured by the agent
that outgoing calls will be enabled within next 30 mins
h) I get a call from 4341 0400 from another agent at 4:30 that I had ordered
from cancellation of vodafone service, when I probed her, she had no clue
who had requested for this... and she got back to me again at 6:30, did I
order for cancellation of 9916136107.. for which I denied again and told her
that ALL that happened was mobile lost, duplicate sim received, enable
outgoing calls, why mis-interpretatioin of information and torture a
customer who has already lost the mobile.. NOT CONNECTION???
FINALLY --- I still can't make any outgoing calls as on 10:00am -
30.08.2009. SO the sole purpose of I receiving the DUPLICATE SIM so quickly
is FULLY DEFEATED, as I still can't make any outgoing calls even after 24
hours.... Please INVESTIGATE and take URGENT action and provide me a report,
what went wrong, WHY is there a disconnect between the departments and your
111 department is really VERY rude, they don't give call back if the systems
are down, they EXPECT me to give call everytime and they do not TAKE ANY
INITIATIVES. When I can reach them umteen times... can't they call 0091 80
4341 0400 to see to that all is okay???
Regards,
Hari

I bought a Vodafone post paid sim from Mohali 3B2 and next day a vodafone employee delivered SIM to me. He said that the service will be activated within 3 days. After two weeks now the phone is still not activated. Inbetween I called the Vodafone employees several times who told me that it will soon be activated. I called Vodafone care several times and they said that they can't help me. Than tried contacting Nodal officer on the number provided on the website and nobody ever picked my phone there. then i contacted the Appellete Desk where I talked to a lady who assured me that someone will get back to me within 4 hours. I didn't receive any communication from their side even after 5 hours and then when I called she said that The address you have given, we cannot send the bill to that address. I told that this thing should have conveyed to me earlier(which would have saved me a lot of time) but she said that we were trying to activate your number somehow. Well now i am stuck. These Vodafone people has wasted two weeks along with the money as I am still using my Delhi number which I planned to discontinue when the new number started working.
Please help me..
