I am facing network issues with airtel post-paid connection from past 6-7 months. I
have logged so many complaints and sent many mails, but they are just saying we are
working on it. Due to this problem I am getting huge amount of bills as my calls are
dropping frequently.
I had paid my past bills on time as team has said we are working on it. But now I
can not pay these huge bills as there is no improvement in services. I am feeling
helpless here. Could you please help me?

respected sir i had been using a number 9004557786 but it got deactivated due to non payment of bill but now i have paid the etire amnt of 10,300 taken a sim card from ur pennisula office parel my approval is dne i have visited ur office 3 times but returnd with false assurances plz look into the matter or i will have to choose another service thanking you

Sir,I have recently changed my pre-paid to postpaid one.I wanted to call at Australia.But services were denied. I talked to executive.He said it will be done within 12 hours or u have to visit the office for urgency.I tried 121 but to my greater surprise ,no facality to talk to any executive. For giving the plan door-step facility is there.But once u are in,no body to hear u.
So there needs so many loopholes to be looked after.What is in my mind is to switch-over to hutch or else.As no proper care,no contacts of office executive is given in any damn documents of airtel.121 is only ,i think ,for new plans(deaf ears-no body to talk to u)My mobile no.is 9998723559
I applied for airtel broadband from Mr.Aftab at Raj Khosla and Company and Mr. Joginder from Cannaught place office visited my address on 31/03/2010 and told me that the installation charge is 750/- rs and i paid him the amount by cheque 000070 . He filled the form no. 2187728 .
I asked him about 5 times , if he was sure that i will get airtel broadband connection to my address as 6 months back , i was told the same by Balaji communications , but they had refused to do the installation after taking money from me, forcing me to escalate the issue.
Mr.Joginder said that there was Airtel box right outside my lane and he assured me again and again that net will be installed at my place on 3rd April .
Once again i was told by AIRTEL team that installation can not happen because of distance from nearest point.
I have since tried calling up Mr.Joginder and his boss - mr. Aftab but they have not picked my calls.
I sent sms telling them the issue but noone has shown concern to get the matter resolved.
My questions :
• When Raj Khosla and Co. team is not aware if installation can happen , why do they commit to people and take money for the same?
• Why does Raj Khosla and Co. team not respond when people try to contact them ?
• Why is my money stuck with AIRTEL if Raj Khosla and Co. team can not do installation ?
AIRTEL Nodal officer - Official moron tells me that refund will take 45 days !

I have been associated with Airtel for almost 4 years and never experienced such frustrating frequent call drop outs and poor coverage until I shifted from Kothrud to Pashan Rd (Pune) some 5 months back.
Until now I have spoken to more than 60 customer executives including floor supervisors.
My recent complaint no. raised was 32340566 (can’t recollect 7th or 8th one).
Reason being, all previous complaints were closed without any resolution but a note saying that It was a temporary issue with Network which is now fixed... sigh .. without even asking the customer.
I am sick of falling into the same loop again and again and fake commitments all the time.
As a matter of fact, one of their Network Engineers had surveyed the area and confirming poor coverage, had submitted his report to Airtel (might be in a trash somewhere).
On being asked about the status, they would always say we are in a process of installing boosters in your area and problem will be resolved for sure by xyz date.
Now they have a better reply to me "Sir, setting boosters is not a small thing. It will take some time as you know there is an approval process and cost factor and blah blah blah".
I spoke to Floor Supervisors, Shiraj and Pranav and they asked me the names of people who gave me false commitment of installing boosters max by so and so date...(wish I could have recorded those calls).
I had to take a different connection (vodafone) and a different handset to maintain my contacts.
Went through the hassle of updating my social accounts and my active profiles everywhere.
Question is:
Is there a process defined for escalations?
Do the floor supervisors keep track of such frequent complaints from a particular customer? or Do they really care about it ?
Does Airtel ignore such complaints as there are not many from the same area complaining about it?
Is there no bridge between the network team and the customer relationship department?
Why Airtel gives false commitments and closes customer's complaints without providing a resolution?
If any other connection is working fine in the same area why can’t Airtel?
I have never defaulted my payments to Airtel and what am I getting in return?
They say I am one of their "Premium Customers", but what value its adding to the service I am getting from Airtel?
How can one trust "Airtel- Express Yourself"?
Could you please help me out as I am completely clueless on above questions and Airtel gives a damm to all this.

I have been availing the service by operating personal Mobile (No.9878893890 - A/c No.107-104975567) in Punjab circle since May, 2009.
Now-a-day I have been facing a peculiar situation created by Airtel with regard to my postpaid Mobile connection. In fact, suddenly the bill of one recently issued connection to a local company in Chandigarh namely M/s AAA Adplast Private Limited has been added as 'Add-on connection' with my mobile number and I am being forced to pay for it.
Noticing the same, I reported this matter to Airtel on their helpline No. 121 for resolution on 1st April, 2010. Instead of giving me a viable solution to this problem, the person on phone (Mr. Gaurav) advised me to visit the concerned company (M/s AAA Adplast Pvt. Ltd.) or to Airtel Relationship centre in Chandigarh to get the problem solved. Since the solution given by Mr. Gaurav was not found viable by me, I opted to bring this matter to Airtel by writing e-mail and bringing all the relevant facts on 2nd April, 2010. Now, finally today they have replied to my mail by giving me a suggestion to visit Airtel Relationship centre by taking all the relevant documents. I have also been advised to clear all the billed / un-billed payment beforehand for resolution of my problem.
I am yet not able to understand that why I am being forced to visit the company concerned or airtel relationship centre and for paying the billed / un-billed payment towards the Add-on connection which in no case pertain to me and I am not responsible for any goof-up held at the end of Airtel itself.
I am treating this act of Airtel as a sheer harassment to their customers and expect intervention from TRAI for issuance of necessary directives to solve the problem and for stopping such harassments to their customers by these means.

I had a post paid airtel connection. I paid the bill till march. but they are now saying that the bill is not updated so you have to pay that again. I missed my mobile phone along with simcard. I called customer care to disable my number. the agent said that the systems from their side are slow so they will take the reqest later since they are not able to do now. after couple of days i again called them and said the same. they said their system is still slow and will take req later.. out of work tension, i forgot to call again. Now they are asking me to pay 5000rupess including penalty for 3000 rs bill.i called them from the number that i am using now. They could have called my number. They sent an sms askig me to pay money ( 5000 rs ) else legal action will be taken, to all the dialled, received contact of my old number. Lot of messages gone to my company managers also. I work in an IT company. This is actually like damaging the name or insulting me to other who is in a good position. I want to file a case for spoiling my name and i want compensation for the damage caused. Please advice me regarding this

I am Sugender and I have Airtel post paid connection with Chennai circle bearing with number 9500150333. For the previous 4 months i have been transferred to Bangalore and hyderbad locations. And I updated my new number to Airtel for tracking me.
There was a due payment Rs.4192 for that mobile and i requested collection department and customer care that I will clear all dues in first week of August 2010 and also told that i am going to relocate Chennai in the month of August 2010. so that i will be re-using the same number. They have accepted my request and agreed to pay by August 2010 frst week.
On 21st July 2010, Airtel sent a SMS to all the callers whom i made from my number. SMS is about my dues and warning me against legal proceedings. I am feeling very insult by sending such kind of SMS to all the people. Airtel have right to take any kind of legal action on me for non payment, but they dont have any right to spoil my reputation infront of all people by blaming me by sending SMS.
I would like to take legal action on Airtel and senders (I have mobile number of sender) for spoiling my reputation even after agreement my request.
Please advice me on this how can i move further to take legal action.

on my airtel number some sms service have been automatically activated & they are charging 3 Rs. per sms.
last month I paid 23 rs. for this, I called to 198 but the person in customer care saying He don't anything about this and he cannot help me.
Still I am getting the messages..
Why is it so and is this the legal response I got from customer care??

I am facing network issues in my airtel connection, there is no network at my home.
On Nov 09 also I faced same problem with Airtel network, that time I logged so many complaints & finally my complaint was closed on May10. Then till 11th Aug 10, network at my home was good.
Now again I am facing same (No network coverage)
Again I logged one complaint, but I am not satisfy with the response received from customer care, they are saying “We regret to inform you that we would be unable to immediately improve the indoor coverage in your area”. They are not providing me root cause of problem & exact date, when I will get full coverage.
My airtel no is very old & I am not able to change it.
I am feeling helpless, Airtel is not providing me good network.
Please help me.
