I am Maninder, working in Tata Consultancy Services in Delhi. I have been Hutch customer (pre paid) for the last almost more than 2 years. In August 2004, I got a call from one of your DSA which is A Plus engineering and the representative's name was Preeti. She informed me that I am eligible for a corporate connection (to convert from pre paid to post paid) under which I will have to pay only Rs 900 in the beginning as a rent for the one year (at the rate of Rs 75 per month) and there will be no security charges, clip charges or any other charges of any kind. I found the plan good, so I decided to convert my pre paid to post paid. Activation to post paid was also done quite immediately.
Two days back, I received the first bill and I was shocked to find that clip charges have been added to my bill. I immediately called up customer care (hutch) at toll free number 200. The executive told me to take up the matter with the concerned DSA. Since then I have been trying to contact the concerned executive of the A Plus engineering DSA but all the mobile numbers which I have been given are either unavailable/unreachable or switedched off. The numbers are 9811043050, 9873087908 and 9811790175. I am surprised as how all the numbers can be unreachable/switched off all the time. Only once I was able to get thru the number but after holding for quite a lot of time I was told the concerned executive (preeti) was not available. My call was takn by some other executive named Neha. i told her about the whole case, She promised me that she will look into it and get back to me within an hour. But as expected she never called me back. Since then I have again been trying to contact them but as before the phones are not reachable/switched off. Today, I got a call from Mr Saurabh (from Hutch) and he wanted to confirm of I have received the bill or not. Then I told him about the whole matter and he informed me that as per him mine is an individual connection and not the corporate connection. I am surprised at this wrong commitment made by the above mentioned DSA of Hutch which has brought the negative repute to such a reputable company Hutch.
Request you to please look into the matter immediately and make the necessary corrections and send me the updated bill after removing the clip charges. Also, I would expect you to take necessary action against the concerned
