Tata Docomo - what a shame

    9030408396 I purchased this sim on July 19 th, 2009. and since that day I have disconnected my BSNL service (which was ok)

    Now 1st thing 1st - Tata Docomo is a "Saste ke maal raste pe" "Raste ke maal saste mai".

    Tata Docomo is "Nam bada darshan choota."

    Tata Docomo team is a "Bunch of losers"

    Now why I am saying all this? ok I had recharged this connection with Rs-100 (Rs 50 twice), balance after 1 month Rs-24. why? Because not a single outgoing call gets connected.
    Even if it gets connected it will get disconnected in 10 to 20 sec.
    Sometimes I am lucky, call gets connected and while calling I get a call charges / balance message (before disconnecting).
    I have lodged several complaints with the Tata Docomo CC but no use even after a month Tata Docomo remains the same SAD Story.

    The CC # 9030012345 does not get connected using another SP like BSNL Reliance etc.

    All in all Tata Docomo is one of those companies that take their Customers for a RIDE (cheap ride) 1p/per sec.

    My sincere advice to all of you out there. Be aware!

    Running a mobile service (specially when one starts up) can have issues, we can screw up at times, but do grant it to us that as a Tata company our philosophy is always customer interest first. Also grant it to us that we are here and on twitter and at many places talking to you guys and trying our best to solve your problems.

    Default Tata DOCOMO Problem

    Hi All,
    I am using tata docomo sim card since last 20 days.

    When I put that sim in my Nokia 3310 mobile it won't get signal & asks to allow sim to send sms - shows "OK". If I Ok it it says not sent. But if i put any other sim like BSNL, IDEA & Airtel it is ok.

    I called tata docomo CC for this they asked me to change the SMS profile no: and try again.

    I did and it says same.

    ***When I put it in my CHINA MOBILE I don't have any problem.


    I don't know what & Where is the Prob in tata docomo SIM

    Unhappy lots of probs with docomo :(

    Hi,
    I've been using TATA DOCOMO from the first day the sim was released ..initially there was no problem regarding anything but later i've been facing many problems.
    1. call dropping.my every outgoing call disconnects at exactly 2 mins 13 secs.
    2. my handset(NOKIA 6030) gets stuck again and again when i use docomo whereas when i insert any other sim in the same handset i don hav any probs using it.
    3.im unable to receive any messages, and even complained to customer care abt this.. but no use.. Now im using the same sim in nokia 1108, and facing the same problem.
    plz give the reasons for the same.

    Dear All,

    For your complaints you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officers.

    Default Tata docomo problem

    Respected sir,

    My i bought tata docomo sim on 29/09/09.My number is 8019749198.It worked very good forthe first three days.But from the next day when i try to connect any number it is saying NETWORK BUSY.It is very disguising.The signals are very strong though also im not able to connect it.I removed the sim and kept it again.But also the same problem.Im not able to tae even urgent calls.The network is bad.

    Without having any contact details of you, there's no way to suggest you the address of your area nodal officers. Kindly provide us your addresses as soon as possible.

    I Kumar Gaurav, using tata docomo service and my number is 9036204809.

    I opted for this service because of the brand name of tata.

    But after taking the connection i feel so guilty, i can't describe.

    From the date of activation, i am facing problems. I am not able to make
    outgoing calls at my place. despite of several complaints this issue has not
    been rectified.though the issue was resolved for one day but again the
    problem has surfaced.the issue still exists I am being given every time a
    new complaint number.for this i have complained to any one and every one
    to the best of my knowledge.

    Poor service after sales is a big concern. And i guess you are not aware of
    this. Poor communication skills at the customer care agent makes the matter
    worst. no body is ready to take accountability of the issue. i seriously
    regret the day i opted for tatadocomo. once tata was a pioneer but now if
    you actually review the market, the figures are changing.

    i have spoken to nodal officer and appellate authority and no action has
    been taken.


    Sir i am sorry to say that my problem is not resolved till now.

    Now i lost my hope with tata and i understood that this is the policy of
    tata docomo to give worst service to customers.

    But as a well wisher of tata i request you to kindly remove the name of
    Mr.ratan tata because this policy damage his reputation also. And for long
    future this is worst for tata itself.

    i have already spoken to nodal officer and appellate authority, but no action has been taken.
    So, i request you kindly take needful actions.

    Thumbs down Not recharging properly

    I charged my docomo account but not yet i credited. I complaint about this to customer care but they r saying it will ok within hours. But not yet credited since one month. Docomo technical department is really bad

    Thumbs down Severe Network Issue In East Nagpur

    Hi, I am Gaurav Barot, a resident of East Nagpur and a customer of Tata Docomo from the last 7 months. For the initial 3 months, there wasn't any issue with the network, but from the last 3 months the conditions here in East Nagpur has gone from bad to worse. Since I was using the Docomo sim in my China-made "Sigamatel S22" handset, I thought it is my IMEI Number who is at fault. But I got that checked and found it to be genuine. Then I replaced the "Network IC" in my handset, but to no avail. And after making a two dozen rounds I finally contacted the "121" to hear them say that there is some upgrading work going on in said region and they are very sorry. Later, I also found out 70% of all the SIMs sold in the said area through the "Tata Tele Zone" from where I got my SIM are not working properly. My Docomo number is "9028671472"

    I have always been a staunch fan of Tata products [you can judge it by the fact that I have "3" TATA walky numbers, 1 TATA prepaid CDMA number and 1 TATA postpaid CDMA number to my name besides this DOCOMO Sim], but this time I sorely disappointed with their service and network.

    Totally and Absolutely Unprofessional.

    hi,
    im Suresh Babu, ph. no 8087149167, from nashik, maharashtra. i got my Docomo sim few months ago, i seem to have no problem with it till the last month or two but ever since the sim keeps hanging and freezes my phone, and lately im not able to make or recieve either phone calls or sms messages.
    pls fix this problem as soon as u can

    I went to dive in site which is advertised as free. there i clicked on whts new & portfolio manager to know what it was(not to download/start service). i got a screen saying ur handset does not support this service. then i got a sms saying Rs.49 has been deducted from ur account. what is the difference between TATAs & roadside pickpocket? DONT U THINK MAMATA BANERJEE WAS RIGHT IN W.BENGAL?
