    Ref: Migration of post-paid numbers 9880306171 & 9880716416 to pre-paid numbers. [Jurisdiction: Bangalore City]

    1 Please note, the migration was to the same subscriber; under the same name, same billing address, same phone number, same SIM card number.
    1.1 All documents required [as mentioned on the Migration Form AND by the representatives at Airtel Outlet] had been submitted [on 05/08/09 and 11/08/09 respectively]
    1.2 Re-charge amounts of Rs.198 per number have been submitted.
    1.3 Post submission, extra documents were required [as directed by phone calls from Airtel]. They have also been submitted, in person.
    1.4. Please note, the requirement of these extra documents was never mentioned in any form or at the Airtel Outlet initially.
    2. were initially activated [on different dates].
    2.1 Both numbers were threatened to be de-activated [by Airtel official calls] citing “incomplete documentation” as reason.
    3. To prevent [2.1]:
    3.1 Subscriber has visited Airtel Outlet no less than 4 times.
    3.2 Subscriber has had conversations with Airtel officials [of various ranks] no less than 10 times.
    3.3 Subscriber has been assured of non-deactivation on every occasion.
    3.4 Subscriber has been assured by Airtel that no further documentation is necessary.
    4. Post [3.], both numbers were activated [on different dates].
    5. On 21/08/09 all outgoing calls were barred on both numbers.
    5.1 Reason cited was again “incomplete documentation”.
    5.2 As a result, users of the above mentioned numbers have missed job appointments, professional appointments, educational appointments and social appointments resulting in financial loss and severe mental trauma.

    6. With respect to [5.2] what financial damages can I seek from Airtel under legal supervision?

    this is rally pathetic, how such a big company can do this with their customers, send a email to your nodal office about your problem, I think he will help you.

    And thanks I was also thinking to change my postpaid to prepaid, kindly let us know if you get the solution.

    I have got a air tel prepaid connection, on which i was using the mobile office
    facility. but now when i tried to activate the facility i m getting a message that i
    am not eligibble for this facility.i tried to contact the customer care but they are
    sating that thay can not tell me why this servivr is stopped on my number.that also
    told me that this scheme is working and ig given on some numbers only. please tell

    Default Validity Problem Airtel Prepaid

    I have old mobile campus plan of Airtel Prepaid and my validity expired on 15th August, to increase the validity i am recharging with Rs.156 in which there is zero talk time and 1 year validity but i am unable to recharge. I have complained several times but there is no response inspite i have talk to senior customer care executive as well, they just say that within 24 hours i will be able to recharge but nothing happens. Infact one customer care executive says that i am complaining first time now what should i do. My no is from Pune Maharashtra and no is 9730765204 .
    If anybody can help please help and give me email address of Airtel .

    I Have Bought An Airtel Recharge Voacher Of Rs 120
    When I Scrached It The Number Was Also Scrached
    So I Went To Airtel Service Center With The Serial Number
    .I Called Airtel Customer Care From Its HotLine Number
    And Gave The Serial Number Of The Recharge Vocher
    But They Didn't Do Anything About It.It Seem A Littel
    Loss For Me But This Way Airtel Make A Huge Profit.
    So Kindly I Request You To Take Action On My
    Compalin..

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I posses an Airtel prepaid connection with mobile number 9945853843 and am
    been using the same for last one and half year approximately. On 19th of
    Oct 2009 I was on my way to Cochin (Roaming) due to which I activated a
    weekly plan for accessing internet browsing. Immediately after activating
    this I received an SMS from Airtel stating "Thank you for activating
    VBC26(15MB Free Usage) Weekly Rental GPRS Pack. Post free usge-30p/50KB.
    To check usage balance dial *124*5# . Thereafter my usage on the 19th
    itself I checked my balance by dialing the above mentioned number as
    received by SMS. The message I received was "You have used 0.00MB from your
    account. Valid upto Nov 11 2009".


    On 20th of Oct 2009 I was in Cochin and on reaffirming again on the balance
    usage availability I was accessing internet keeping in mind the message that
    I had received and to my surprise there was a reduction of Rs 293 INR. On
    return from the trip I contacted the Airtel customer care centre to
    understand the reason as to why there was such a drastic deduction. I was
    told that I have been charged on for the net surfing and that I had exceeded
    my limits on the 19th itself. However, as they (Airtel) understood that
    there were some kind of problem they had refunded 26INR on 27th of Oct 2009.

    Further to this when I demanded for an explanation as to why I was misled by
    such messages I was assured by one person posing as manager that, if I had
    ever received such an SMS from Airtel then the amount would be refunded
    within 24 working hours. In spite of me contacting the customer care I was
    only being informed that I have used that amount for netsurfing.

    As it is clearly evident from the messages that I have received and stored
    in my mobile and in my system that I was misled by the information that they
    had provided me to charge extra amount from customers like me.

    In view of the above I request you to kindly intervene in this matter and
    provide justice to me and also others who are trapped with such service
    providers.

    Default Airtel Prepaid SIM Card Activation Problem

    I am Raghu Gantasala. I have bought SIM 4 years back. At that time they didn't ask any address proof for SIM activation. So I have't submit any address proof.

    Recently 3 weaks back Airtel people suddenly stopped my services incoming an outgoing with out intimation. They say's that to submit address proof.

    I went to Airtel office and submitted address proff 2 TIMES. But they did't activate my SIM and they saying your name differently registered in 4 years back. Now you are submmiting documents with the name RAGHU GANTASALA.
    How can we activate your SIM.

    This is the problem

    Actually 4 years back There is no address proof submission at all for AIRTEL SIM. But they recently due to security problem they are asking address proof.

    So I have submitted address proof. With out submission of adderess proof 4 years back how they can give my name with another name.

    Default NOP issue(net on phone)

    Hi.... I am Roshan from pune. The issue is with the airtel net, from 26th night I am unable to use my NOP service on my mobile, i was able to use it free of cost since 2 year, now its not connecting, I have not made any changes, and I have all settings, it suddenly stopped working. So please HELP!!!!!

    Default Call center(121) just to FAKE

    Hi, this is Roshan Singh. I am really very much frustrated with the call center number of airtel(121). Its just fake. I am having some issue with the GPRS so I was trying to contact on 121, believe me, its not connecting to the executive, I have gone through the IVR, but when its the time to connect to the executive after prssing 9 it just says please SMS AIRTEL to 121 for BALANCE enquiry. thats is, nothing else. Every time morning, evening or night. I tried after going through thr IVR at last it says the same but in the past i was able to talk to them, but I think now they do not have the executive to talk. you know I am suffernig a lot bexause of this, I need to talk to the executive beacuse I have issue with the NOP, its not working now. It suddenly has stoped working from 26th night of this month(nov).. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
