I as still a subscriber of Airtel serivice (though cannot use the phone)
I had registered for the Donot Call services with Airtel in December and the 45 days
cooling off period got over in jan. I have raised more than 35 complaints for
recieving telemarketing calls. In fact Airtel is an offender in 3 such complaints.
As per the TRAI ruling Airtel is mandated to provide a resolution within 7 days of
raising of the complaint. Due to their non co-operation I stopped the payment of
their bills wef April. This was intimated by me to them in all the complaints that i
have raised. There are repeat offenders who are AIRTEL subscribers. No action was
taken till i my last contact with them in June. There after they have disconnect my
connection.
I have contacted their Nodal & Appeletter officers who are not only rude but are big
liars as they state that they donot see any repeat offender complaints. This they by
looking at all the complaints raised (35 at least) in less than 2 minutes.
I also went to their Bannergatta Road office but got no support
I have asked for the all the complaints I have registered along with the details in
writing which they have not provided nor are willing to give.
They have now closed all the complaints with comments as follows "customer contacted
and complaint resolved".
My question is how can they contact me when they have disconnect my phone number and
i donot have any other alertnate number.
